Die Wohnung grenzt an den Stadtwall und befindet sich somit in unmittelbarer Nähe der Innenstadt, sodass man dort zu Fuß alles easy erreicht. Die Universität und der Bahnhof sind mit dem Fahrrad innerhalb von 5-10 Minuten zu erreichen. Eine Bushaltestelle liegt direkt vor der Haustür. Weitere Busverbindungen sind ebenfalls innerhalb von 3 Minuten zu erreichen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten reichen von ALDI über den Nahkauf und auch Rewe um die Ecke.

The flat borders on the Stadtwall and is therefore in the immediate vicinity of the city centre, making it easy to reach everything there on foot. The university and the train station can be reached by bike within 5-10 minutes. A bus stop is right outside the front door. Other bus connections can also be reached within 3 minutes. Shopping facilities range from ALDI to Nahkauf and also Rewe around the corner.

Da ich ein Auslandspraktikum mache, wird hier in unsere sweeten WG ein Plätzchen frei. Bei uns ist eigentlich immer etwas los und auch Freunde sind jederzeit willkommen. Von gemeinsamen Anbaden über Cocktail-Zimmerhopping, hin zu gemütlichen Trash-TV-Abenden (eine in Corona-Zeiten entdeckte WG-Leidenschaft) freuen wir uns immer, wenn wir es schaffen gemeinsam etwas zu unternehmen und Zeit zu verbringen. Ansonsten findet man sich ohnehin häufig spontan in der gemütlichen WG-Küche oder im Sommer auf dem Balkon zusammen. Wir sind alle recht gesprächig und reden so ziemlich über alles. Das bezieht sich sowohl darauf, dass man über allen möglichen Scheiß redet als auch tiefgründige Gespräche zulässt. Aufgrund der familiären Atmosphäre, muss auch jeder mal seine Ressourcen wieder aufladen und kann sich dementsprechend jederzeit zurückziehen. Gerade wenn du neu in Göttingen bist, wird dir in der WG der Einstieg sehr leicht fallen.
Deine zukünftigen Mitbewohner wären Axel (30), Camis(28), Pia (25). Ein weiteres Zimmer ist unbefristet frei, also könntest du auch mit wem zusammen einziehen :)
Axel ist unser frisch promovierter WG-Papi, der neben seiner Mitochondrienforschung vor allem für jede Art von Outdooraktivität zu haben ist, gerne mal das ein oder andere Möbelstück in dem zur Hobbywerkstatt umfunktionierten WG-Keller herstellt oder als Chefkoch uns mal wieder leckere Köstlichkeiten auf den Tisch zaubert. Mit seiner fröhlichen
Art sorgt er immer für gute Laune.
Pia ist unser Küken und die Zahnfee der WG. Sie verzaubert uns regelmäßig mit ihren Gadgets (man nennt sie auch Queen of Gadgets), weil sie für alles und jede Situation ein praktisches Tool findet. Ansonsten ist Pia trotz ihres Alters häufig in der Rolle der WG-Mami und kümmert sich fürsorglich um uns - wenn sie nicht gerade in einer ihrer anstrengenden Prüfungsphasen ist, dann versuchen wir das umzudrehen und uns um sie zu kümmern und Rücksicht zu nehmen.
Camis ist begeisterte Travellerin, Aperolliebend, wie wir alle, und backt das beste Brot wöchentlich frisch, unseren Hermann. Sie arbeitet beim Landkreis im Nachhaltigkeitsbüro, danach gehts meist in die Natur laufen oder neuerdings auch klettern. Mit ihrer offenen und führsorglichen Art fühlt es sich so an als wäre Camis schon immer ein Teil der WGlicious. Sie hat immer ein Ohr offen für die Freuden und Sorgen des Alltags.

Im Allgemeinen ist die WG recht sportlich unterwegs, sodass man Axel viel im Fiz (Uni-Fitnesstudio), im Sommer non-stop auf dem Beachvolleyballfeld oder Camis beim Laufen und im Roxx trifft und Pia ab und an auf dem Reiterhof.

Was uns wichtig ist :
Wir suchen nach jemanden mit Lust auf ne witzige und familiäre WG hat. Du solltest nicht allzu verschlossen sein und vielleicht auch nicht zu wortkarg. Wir sind alle ziemlich unternehmungslustig, sowohl alleine als auch zusammen, wer also dauerhaft eher Zuhause rum hängt, wird hier vielleicht nicht ganz so glücklich. Ansonsten macht es die WG einem sehr einfach sich hier sehr schnell super wohl und zu Hause zu fühlen.

As I am doing an internship abroad, a place is available here in our sweet shared flat. There's always something going on here and friends are always welcome. From bathing together to cocktail room hopping to cosy trash TV evenings (a shared flat passion discovered in Corona times), we are always happy when we manage to do something together and spend time together. Otherwise, we often get together spontaneously in the cosy shared kitchen or on the balcony in the summer. We are all quite talkative and talk about pretty much everything. This refers to talking about all kinds of shit as well as allowing for deep conversations. Because of the family atmosphere, everyone has to recharge their resources sometimes and can retreat accordingly at any time. Especially if you are new to Göttingen, you will find it very easy to get started in the shared flat.
Your future flatmates would be Axel (30), Camis(28), Pia (25). Another room is available for an unlimited period, so you could also move in with someone :)
Axel is our newly graduated flat-sharing dad, who, apart from his mitochondrial research, is particularly keen on all kinds of outdoor activities, likes to make one or two pieces of furniture in the basement for the WG, which has been converted into a hobby workshop, or, as head chef, conjures up delicious delicacies for us to enjoy. With his cheerful
he always puts us in a good mood.
Pia is our chick and the tooth fairy of the WG community. She regularly enchants us with her gadgets (she is also known as the Queen of Gadgets) because she finds a practical tool for everything and every situation. Otherwise, despite her age, Pia is often in the role of WG mummy and cares for us in a caring way - when she's not in one of her stressful exam phases, then we try to turn that around and look after her and show consideration.
Camis is an enthusiastic traveller, a lover of Aperol like all of us, and bakes the best bread fresh every week, our Hermann. She works for the district in the sustainability office, after which she usually goes running in nature or, more recently, climbing. With her open and caring nature, it feels like Camis has always been a part of WGlicious. She always has an ear open for the joys and sorrows of the everyday life.

In general, the WG is quite sporty, so you can meet Axel a lot on his gravel or mountain bike, at the Fiz (university gym), non-stop on the beach volleyball court in the summer, or Camis running and at the Roxx, and Pia at horse riding from time to time.

What is important to us :
We are looking for someone who wants to live in a funny and familiar WG community. You shouldn't be too taciturn. We are all quite adventurous, both alone and together, so if you tend to hang around at home all the time, you might not be so happy here. Otherwise, the shared flat makes it very easy to feel super comfortable and at home here very quickly.
