Cosy WG room at the Stadtwall Gemütliches WG-Zimmer am Stadtwall

The WG is located in the southern city centre, directly at the Göttingen Stadtwall. In Göttingen there is no way really far, but from our WG almost everything can be reached in no time. On foot you are in ten minutes at the station, the central campus is only about eight minutes by bike. It's a bit further to the North campus, but it's also fast. And if it is to be the bus, there is still the bus stop right in front of the front door. In order to get to the city centre, it is only a few meters away so that various shopping facilities can be reached within minutes. If you turn to the south, you are also quite fast at the Leine and at Lake Kiessee, if you feel like a walk.

Die WG befindet sich in der südlichen Innenstadt, direkt am Göttinger Stadtwall. In Göttingen ist zwar kein Weg wirklich weit, aber von unserer WG aus ist fast alles in kürzester Zeit erreichbar. Zu Fuß ist man in zehn MInuten am Bahnhof, zum Zentralcampus sind es mit dem Fahrrad nur etwa acht Minuten. Zum Nordcampus ist es etwas weiter, doch auch der ist eigentlich schnell erreicht. Und wenn es doch der Bus sein soll, gibt es immer noch die Bushaltestelle direkt vor der Haustür. Um in die Innenstadt zu gelangen, sind es nur wenige Meter, sodass auch diverse Einkaufsmöglichkeiten innerhalb weniger Minuten zu erreichen sind. Wendet man sich nach Süden, ist man auch recht schnell an der Leine und am Kiessee, falls einem der Sinn nach einem Spaziergang steht.

Currently we are four in the WG. That sounds like many people, but is very relaxed and uncomplicated (even with only one bathroom). There is no communal living room, but in our spacious kitchen you can sit together and chat, cook or similar.
We usually perform a very quiet WG life without big parties or regularly planned joint activities. Often it comes spontaneously to a chat in the kitchen, and from time to time we also do something together, for example get the famous WG raclette out, watch a movie or order pizza (or Indian, this is also very popular).
Who lives here?
At the moment Jonas, Tabea and Thore are at home in the WG.
Jonas studies computer science, likes to play piano, grows on the window board and goes regularly bouldering.
Thore studies history and is usually at his PC, or at the choir.
Tabea has studied biology and has been working at Home Office for a few months. She likes to spend the remaining time reading and takes care of her room plants.
Generally, we are rather quiet companions (except the musical changes) who appreciate a peaceful night's rest and like to boil back in the room. However, what does not mean that we cannot occasionally be the same; )

Derzeit sind wir zu viert in der WG. Das klingt nach vielen Leuten, ist aber sehr entspannt und unkompliziert (sogar mit nur einem Bad). Es gibt zwar kein gemeinschaftliches Wohnzimmer, aber in unserer geräumigen Küche kann man gut auch mal zusammensitzen und quatschen, kochen oder Ähnliches.
Wir führen in der Regel ein sehr ruhiges WG-Leben, ohne große Partys oder regelmäßig geplante gemeinsame Aktivitäten. Oft kommt es spontan zu einem Plausch in der Küche, und ab und zu machen wir auch was zusammen, holen z.B. das berühmte WG-Raclette raus, schauen einen Film oder bestellen Pizza (oder indisch, das ist auch sehr beliebt).
Wer hier überhaupt wohnt?
Im Moment sind Jonas, Tabea und Thore in der WG zu Hause.
Jonas studiert Informatik, spielt gerne Klavier, gärtnert auf dem Fensterbrett und geht regelmäßig bouldern.
Thore studiert Geschichte und ist meist an seinem PC anzutreffen, oder beim Chor.
Tabea hat Biologie studiert und arbeitet seit ein paar Monaten im Home Office. Sie verbringt die verbleibende Zeit gerne mit Lesen und kümmert sich um ihre Zimmerpflanzen.
Allgemein sind wir eher ruhige Gesellen (bis auf die musikalischen Anwandlungen), die eine friedliche Nachtruhe schätzen und gerne mal zurückgezogen im Zimmer brüten. Was aber nicht heißt, dass wir nicht ab und an auch gesellig sein können ; )

The fourth in the covenant, Lea, is now unfortunately moving out, but you could take over her room. It would be best if you planned to stay a little bit in Göttingen and find a room for a medium or longer term.
