The room size is 15qm, but due to the slanted ceiling actual living space is about 12qm. The apartment as a whole is 68qm. The three of us share the hallway/dinning area, kitchen, and bathroom. Off of Laura’s room there is a balcony that she is kind enough to let us access. There is also storage space in the cellar, as well as, a washer that is owned by Janina. You can also store your bike in the courtyard.

The apartment is located in downtown Göttingen. 2-3 minute walk to nearest grocery story, 3 minute walk to nearest bus stop (dir: north campus), 3 minute walk to Stadthalle, 5 minute walk to Gänseliesel
We are a friendly, but quiet bunch of ladies. Between busy work and free-time schedules, we can go a few days without seeing one another. However, we are always happy to chat when our paths do cross.
General house rule is that we cleanup after ourselves when we leave a room. Also we share the responsibility of keeping communal spaces clean. That also includes paying for communally used products, like cleaning supplies.
Laura, Italian, just finished her PhD last year and has since been working. Janina, German, is working to finalize her own PhD and too shall soon join the work force. Jessica, American and the one who is leaving, went back to University for her PhD after years as a professional. All of us are either in our late-20s/30s. House language is English.
There are 10 pieces of furniture in the room (2 bookshelves, 1 wardrobe, 1 bedside table, 1 chest of draws, 1 desk chair, 1 desk, 1 futon, 1 single-bed, and 1 side-table). All of which are to be sold together to the next tenant for 250€.
