Die WG ist sehr nah am Zentral Campus gelegen. Zur Innenstadt oder zum Göttinger Bahnhof ist man mit dem Rad binnen 5-7 min da. Es gibt in der Umgebung viele Möglichkeiten den Einkauf für Lebensmittel zu erledigen. Um einige Beispiele zu erwähnen: Rewe, Lidl, Aldi, Aliman... alle fußläufig in max 7 Minuten erreichbar. Falls du mal Lust auf Pizza/Pasta hast, gibt es gleich ums Eck gleich zwei Pizzastuben!

The shared flat is very close to the central campus. You can cycle to the city centre or Göttingen train station in 5-7 minutes. There are many opportunities to buy groceries in the neighbourhood. To mention a few examples: Rewe, Lidl, Aldi, Aliman... all within walking distance in max. 7 minutes. If you fancy a pizza/pasta, there are two pizza parlours just around the corner!

Zum 1.7.2024 suchen wir (Robin, Senthalir und Zee-Won) eine*n neue*n Mitwebewohner*in für ein langfristiges Zusammenwohnen in einer 5-er WG als Teil eines größeren linken Hausprojekts. Mittelfristig wird uns schweren Herzens auch Robin verlassen, so dass wir dann gemeinsam noch eine*n neue*n Mitbewohner*in casten werden. Wir lieben es, Zeit miteinander zu verbringen, viel zu teilen - von Arbeit und Essen bis zu unseren neuesten Entdeckungen und Learnings) und machen auch Ausflüge und feiern zusammen. Empathische, sensible und rücksichtsvolle Interaktion miteinander ist uns sehr wichtig.

Wir sind in unseren frühen 30ern und 40ern, arbeiten und studieren. Manchmal ist die Stimmung positiv verrückt und manchmal gehen wir ruhig unserem Leben nach. Ein aufgeräumtes und sauberes Zusammenleben ist uns wichtig. Wir teilen alle Nahrungsmittel und haben dafür ein gemeinsames Konto, von dem wir auch frisches Gemüse von regionalen Landwirt*innen beziehen, um sie zu unterstützen.

Wir suchen nach dir, wenn du eine langfristige Perspektive in Göttingen hat. Es ist uns auch wichtig, dass du Interesse daran hast, Teil eines linken Hausprojekts zu sein, was nochmal zusätzliche Pflichten mit sich bringt, so wie die Teilnahme an regulären Treffen der Hausgemeinschaft und an der Selbstverwaltung des Hauses.

As of July 1, 2024, we (Robin, Senthalir and Zee-Won) are looking for a new flatmate in a five-person flat share to live with us on a long-term basis as part of a left-housing project. In the mid-term, Robin will also leave the flat with a heavy heart, so that we get to cast a new flatemate together. We love to hang out together, share a lot (from work and food to our latest discoveries and insights) and sometimes go on trips to the region together or go partying. Empathetic, sensitive and considerate interaction with each other is very important to us.

We are in our early 30s and 40s, working and pursuing academics. Sometimes we like to be loud together, sometimes we all quietly do our own thing. Cleanliness and tidiness are important to us. We share all the food, have a joint account for groceries and vegetables, which we buy from the local farmers to support them.

We are looking for a person who preferably has a long-term perspective in Göttingen. It is also important that you are oriented towards living in a left-wing house project that would have its own share of work and responsibilities. This includes regular meetings with the house community and active participation in the self-administration of the house.

Therefore, it is important that you please include your social positioning and your political orientation when writing to us.

Schreib bei deiner Nachricht bitte knapp etwas zu deiner sozialen Positionierung. Es wohnen verschiedene Leute, die strukturell benachteiligt werden (aus verschiedensten Gründen) hier im Haus und es ist uns wichtig, dass das Haus dahingehend ein Schutzraum sein kann.

Hier noch einige Infos zum Hausprojekt:
Als Gruppe und Bewohner*innen des Hauses verbindet uns der Wunsch nach einem Leben in Gemeinschaft als Alternative zur Vereinzelung. Entgegen individualisierter Lebenskonzepte wollen wir dabei auch Privates nicht außer Acht lassen, sondern aufeinander Rücksicht nehmen und uns im Alltag und bei Herausforderungen gegenseitig unterstützen.

Alle Bewohner*innen des Hauses sollen gleichberechtigt sein. Deshalb streben wir ein Zusammenleben in Selbstbestimmung und Selbstverwaltung an, das auf einer antikapitalistischen, feministischen und rassismuskritischen Grundhaltung basiert. Dabei ist uns ein wichtiges Anliegen, eine langfristige Perspektive für das Haus zu schaffen und die Entstehung anderer selbstverwalteter Hausprojekte in Göttingen aktiv zu unterstützen und zu fördern.

Zum Haus gehören eine Kellerkneipe, ein großer Garten mit Gemüsebeeten und Bühne, eine Werkstatt, Koch- und Partyabende oder auch einfach nur gemütliches Abhängen.

As a group and residents of the house, we are united by the desire for a life in community as an alternative to isolation. In contrast to individualized life concepts, we do not want to disregard our private lives, but rather show consideration for each other and support each other in everyday life and in the face of challenges.

All residents of the house should have equal rights. Therefore, we strive for a coexistence in self-determination and self-administration, which is based on an anti-capitalist, feminist and racism-critical attitude. It is important to us to create a long-term perspective for the house and to actively support and promote the emergence of other self-managed house projects in Göttingen.

The house includes a cellar pub, a large garden with vegetable patches and a stage, a workshop, cooking and party evenings or simply a cozy place to hang out.
