Das Zimmer ist Teil einer ziemlich internationalen Flur-WG im zweiten Stockwerk eines Studentenwohnheims in der Nähe des Göttinger Stadtwaldes. Man hat vom Zimmer aus einen tollen Blick über die Stadt und außerdem den Luxus eines eigenen Waschbeckens. Außerdem seid ihr, wenn ihr hier einzieht, in der glücklichen Lage, dass ihr eines der wenigen großen Zimmer im Wohnheim beziehen könnt - die anderen sind knapp halb so groß. Das Zimmer wird zudem möbliert übergeben mit Schrank, Schreibtisch, Regal und Bett, ihr könnt aber auch Möbel austauschen, wie ihr mögt. Waschmaschine und Trockner gibt es im Keller, Küche und Badezimmer teilt man sich innerhalb der WG.
This room is part of a quite international flat-share in a student dormitory close to the forest - you have a rather magnificent view of the city from the window. Also, you get one of the few large rooms of the dormitory as well as your very own sink. There will be a wardrobe, shelf, desk as well as bed for you to use, but you can of course bring your own furniture, too. Washing machine and dryer are available for everybody in the basement. Bathroom and kitchen are common spaces.
Direkt vor dem Haus ist eine Bushaltestelle (Stauffenbergring), die einen zuverlässig in die Stadt, zum Campus und Richtung Bahnhof bringt. Der Weg zur Uni ist leicht, weil es nur bergab geht. Außerdem lässt sich der Drahtesel sicher im hauseigenen abschließbaren Fahrradkeller unterbringen. Die Gegend ist ruhig und in erster Linie ein Wohnviertel, aber gegenüber gibt es einen Bäcker, der einen immer mit frischen Backwaren für den gemeinsamen Brunch versorgt. Außerdem ist man schnell zum Biken oder Lustwandeln im Wald :) Ein besonderes Highlight sind dabei die Streuobstwiesen.
There is a bus stop directly in front of the house (Stauffenbergring, line 80) - you can take the bus to university, shopping or when you need to get to the train station with lots of baggage. But it's even better to have a bike - down the hill to university you don't have to pedal once :) You can leave your bike in our very own bike shed. The neighborhood is really quiet and very close to the forest. A highlight is the bakery right across the street, you'll never go hungry on sunday morning brunch.
Der Umgang miteinander ist freundschaftlich bis familiär, da viele Mitbewohner bereits seit mehreren Jahren hier leben. Gemeinsame Spieleabende sind praktisch obligatorisch, es wird aber auch immer mal wieder gemeinsam gekocht oder im Garten gearbeitet. Wenn jemand die Tür hinter sich zumacht, ist das allerdings auch okay. Es herrscht ein Umgang, in dem offen kommuniziert werden kann, wenn es Probleme gibt, ohne dass jemand beleidigt ist. Und, ganz wichtig: unsere Küche hat eine Spülmaschine! :D
Some roommates have lived here for several years and know one another very well, so the atmosphere is very friendly and close. We play boardgames together frequently, have dinner or brunch together or work on projects in the backyard. If you need space, that's accepted too, of course, and if there are any problems, communicating openly has always worked. Also, we have a dishwasher in our kitchen! :D
Immatrikulationsbescheinigung ist für den Einzug von der Hausleitung erwünscht. Bitte meldet euch hier bei WG gesucht, dann können wir einen (gerne digitalen, sonst maskierten) Besichtigungstermin vereinbaren. Ansonsten freuen wir uns auf neue Gesichter! :)
