Schönstes Zimmer frei in Fünfer-WG im Ostviertel

Unsere Wohnung liegt ganz in der Nähe des Cheltenhamparks, ein bisschen südöstlich des Innenstadtwalls. Die Lage ist wirklich toll, es ist nur ein Katzensprung sowohl in die Innenstadt als auch zu den Schillerwiesen und zum Stadtwald. Zur Uni braucht es keine 10 min mit dem Fahrrad und Rewe, Kaufland etc. sind auch alle fußläufig zu erreichen!
Ansonsten ist die Wohngegend eher ruhig. Über uns und im Souterrain wohnen noch weitere WGs, im Erdgeschoss wohnt noch eine Einzelperson. Außerdem gibt es noch eine Yoga-Praxis, das Büro der Hausverwaltung und eine Psychotherapie im Haus. Alle Nachbar*innen sind sehr lieb, ab und an kommt es auch zu der ein oder anderen Party im Haus, zu der natürlich alle eingeladen sind. Alles in allem ist es aber meistens recht ruhig im Haus.

Our apartment is very close to Cheltenhampark, a bit southeast of the inner city wall. The location is really great, it is close to the city center as well as to the Schillerwiesen (another pretty park) and the forest. It takes less than 10 minutes by bike to get to the university and supermarkets like Rewe, Kaufland etc. are all within walking distance.
Otherwise, the residential area is rather quiet. The flats above us and in the basement are also shared flats, on the first floor lives a single person. There is also a yoga studio, the office of our land lord and a psychotherapy in the house. All the neighbors are very nice, and from time to time there is a party in the house, to which everyone is invited, of course. All in all, however, it is usually quite quiet in the house.

Jetzt das wichtigste: die WG!
Wir sind aktuell zu fünft bzw. eigentlich zu sechst: Sophia (sie), Al (er), Konni (em/konni), Lina (sie), Eti (sie) und Lily (sie). Lily ist gerade im Erasmus, Eti wohnt noch bis März zur Zwischenmiete bei uns. Lina wird ausziehen und ihr Zimmer wird dementsprechend frei. Die WG wurde im letzten Sommer gegründet, und wir sind richtig froh, einander gefunden zu haben! Bis auf Al (der ist Musiker) sind wir eine Studi-WG, wir studieren verschiedenes sozial- oder geisteswissenschaftliche Zeugs und Medizin. Daneben sind wir alle mal mehr mal weniger stark in Lohnarbeit, Musikkollektiven sowie Politgruppen eingebunden. Alle Mitbewohnis machen gern und viel Musik bei uns, von Gitarre, Oud oder Klavier bis Techno ist alles dabei!
Obwohl wir alle viel unterwegs sind achten wir darauf, Zeit miteinander zu verbringen und ein schönes WG-Leben zu gestalten. Oft findet das dann eher abends nach gemeinsam gekochten Abendessen und bei einer Runde Karten in der Küche statt, oder morgens, bei einem gemeinsamen Kaffee bevor es in die Uni geht. Wir machen einmal im Monat ein WG-Plenum bei dem alles besprochen wird, was so ansteht und eventuelle strukturelle Aufgaben verteilt werden.
Außerdem haben wir eine richtig tolle und regionale Solawi und kaufen aus einer gemeinsamen Kasse ein, kochen vegetarisch und teilen alles. Das wird aber nicht ultra streng durchgezogen, also wenn du mal essen für dich haben willst oder Fleisch kochen möchtest, dann ist das auch kein Problem. Wir haben darüber hinaus einen Putzplan und eine "Repro-Liste", um die Carearbeit gleichmäßig zu verteilen. Keine Sorge, das klingt alles vielleicht komplizierter als es ist, aber es ist nur halb so wild und wir können dir das alles bei einem Treffen noch genauer erklären :)
Alle in der WG sprechen Englisch, Al lernt gerade noch Deutsch. Deshalb wäre es super wenn du dich wohlfühlen würdest in WG-Kontexten manchmal auch Englisch zu sprechen. Ansonsten sind vereinzelt noch Arabisch-, Französisch-, Spanisch- und Griechisch-Kenntnisse vorhanden.

Now the most important thing: the roommates and our life in the flat!
There are five of us, or actually six: Sophia (she/her), Al (he/him), Konni (they/konni), Lina (she/her); Eti (she/her) and Lily (she/her). Lily is currently for Erasmus in Spain and Eti is for this time living in her room until march. Lina will be moving to Scotland, so it is her room that will be vacant. The WG was founded last summer, and we are really happy to have found each other! Except for Al (he's a musician) we are students, we study either different social sciences, liberal arts or medicine. Besides that we are all involved in wage work, musiccollectives and political groups. All of the flatmates like to make a lot of music, so from time to time you hear nice tunes, from techno beats to guitar, oud or piano melodies. 
Although we are all have a lot to do, we make sure to spend time together. Often, we come together in the evenings. We cook dinner or play cards in the kitchen. Or we meet up for coffee in the mornings before going to university. Once a month we have a plenum where we discuss everything that is going on. But most of the time we just sit together, drink coffee and talk :). Oh, and we have a really great and regional Solawi and buy our groceries together. We cook vegetarian and share all the food. But this is not strictly  enforced, so if you want to have food for yourself or cook meat once in a while this isn't a problem. We also have a cleaning schedule and a "repro list" to distribute the care work equally. But don't worry, that sounds way more complicated than it is and we can explain it all to you in more detail at a meeting :)
Everyone in the flat speaks English, Al is still learning German. Therefore it would be great if you would feel comfortable to speak English sometimes in the flat. Apart from that, some of us have Arabic, French and Greek skills.

Wir suchen nach Menschen, die ebenfalls Lust auf ein lebendiges und gemeinschaftliches Wg-Leben haben, um gemeinsam den grauen Göttinger Winter zu überstehen.
