Sonniges WG-Zimmer in der Südstadt

Die WG liegt in der wunderschönen Südstadt. Zur Orientierung: Zu Fuß brauchst du zum Schwimmbad Eiswiese etwa 5 Minuten und zum Freibad etwa 6 Minuten. Die Innenstadt sind etwa 15 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen und der Zentralcampus (es gibt den Zentralcampus und den Nordcampus in Göttingen, am Nordcampus wird bsp. Medizin unterrichtet und befindet sich in der Nordstadt, ist also ein gutes Stück entfernt, während der Zentralcampus quasi um die Eckes ist) ist mit dem Fahrrad etwa 12 Minuten entfernt. Göttingen ist nicht groß, deswegen lasst euch nicht abschrecken!
In der Nähe liegt der Kiessee und die Leine - beides wunderschöne Orte in Coronazeiten an denen man schön Spazieren gehen kann.
Diverse Supermärkte finden sich in der Umgebung - Penny (10 Minuten zu Fuß) , Südstadt Laden (3 Minuten zu Fuß), Westhalle (8 Minuten zu Fuß). Rewe und Kaufland sind auch mit dem Fahrrad um die Ecke.

The apartment is located in the "Südstadt" / Southern part of the city. For some orientation, you just need a 5-minute walk to the Eiswiesen (the name of a swimming pool) and 6 min to get to the outdoor pool in the summer. To get to the center of the city center, you need about 15 min walking, and to get to the central campus around 12 min by bike. Göttingen isn't that big, so everything is either a short walk away or if you prefer easily accessible via bus or bike :)

The apartment is close to the "Kiessee" (a small lake) and the "Leine" (river) which are beautiful destinations to have to take a walk during Corona times.

There are many supermarkets in the area, with Penny being a 10 min, the Südstadt Laden a three min, and the Westhalle an 8 min walk away. Rewe and Kaufland are also just a short bike ride away :)

Hallo liebe WG-Suchende!

Zunächst einmal zu uns, du würdest mit Lisa und mir (Charlotte) zusammen leben! Ich stelle uns erst einmal kurz vor und dann kommt der Teil indem es um das WG-Leben geht.

Ich studiere hier in Göttingen im Master Global Business und befinde mich gerade im Online-Auslandssemester in Nanjing, China. Ich bin tatsächlich auch erst für meinen Master nach Göttingen gezogen und verbringe deswegen in meiner Freizeit viel Zeit Göttingen, Kassel und Hannover kennenzulernen. Ich habe während Corona das Wandern, Puzzeln, Spazieren gehen für mich entdeckt, außerdem bin ich in Göttingen Teil eines Gartenprojekts mit Internationals. Ich genieße interkulturelle Kommunikation und den Austausch und ich habe hier in Göttingen viele ausländische Freunde. Durch mein Studium auch lerne ich Chinesisch, außerdem bin ich Mitglied im Debattierclub! Außerdem gehe ich leidenschaftlich gerne vintage shoppen und versuche mich gerade am aufmöbeln von Stühlen! :)

Lisa studiert hier im Master International Economics - ein schönen Namen für VWL :) Sie ist auch erst im Master nach Göttingen gezogen und entdeckt immer wieder gerne neue Restaurants und Bars in Göttingen mit Freunden. Zu ihren Hobbies gehören Lesen, Backen & Kochen, und Sprachen lernen. Für das letztere ist sie Samstags meistens in Kassel. Sie hat während der Coronazeit ihre Liebe zu Pflanzen zu entdeckt als auch die typischen Coronaspaziergänge.

Zum WG-Leben, wir treffen uns häufig spontan abends in der Küche auf eine Tasse Tee (Charlotte) und ein Glas Wein (Lisa) und quatschen dann sehr ausführlich. Lisa will mir das Kochen beibringen, dass werden wir sicher im nächsten Semester aktiv angehen und du kannst gerne dazustoßen, ob als Lehrling oder Chef! ;)

Unser WG-Motto ist, das wir uns gerne sehen und zusammen Zeit verbringen, es gleichzeitig wichtig finden, dass man jederzeit sich verabschieden kann und Zeit für sich nehmen kann ohne schlechtes Gewissen! ;)

Übrigens haben wir ein Wohnzimmer, welches momentan eine Mischung aus Arbeitszimmer und Wäschetrockenraum genutzt wird. Wir möchten den Raum gerne aktiv als gemeinsames Wohnzimmer nutzen, sowie den anschließenden Balkon! Deswegen sieht der Raum und der Balkon auf den Fotos auch noch nicht gesellig aus. Dieser ist im Sommer eine echte Oase. Momentan haben wir noch keine Möbel, also wenn du noch über das eine oder andere Möbelstück oder eine Pflanze verfügst, sag gerne Bescheid, wir finden einen schönen Platz dafür!

If everything works out, you would be living together with Lisa and me (Charlotte)! We thought it would be easier to first introduce ourselves and then tell you a bit about our dynamic :)

At the moment I am a Master's student in Global Business. I am currently doing an online exchange year in Nanjing, China. I moved to Göttingen at the beginning of my masters, and therefore am using my free time to discover the surrounding areas of Göttingen, Kassel, and Hannover. During all the Corona-semsters I have discovered my passion for hiking, puzzles as well as just taking walks. Soon I will also be part of a gardening initiative with internationals! I enjoy international exchanges and communication, having many international friends. I am currently learning Chinese and am a member of the debate club at the university. Also I am an enthusiastic vintage shopper and currently I am flipping and upgrading chairs that I found. :)

Lisa is a master's student in International Economics. She too moved to Göttingen at the beginning of her Master's and enjoys discovering new restaurants and bars out in Göttingen (the limited quantity that we have :)) Her hobbies include reading, cooking & baking, and learning languages. For the latter, she is often in Kassel on Saturdays. During the corona - semesters she discovered her love for plants as well as also taking corona walks around the Kiessee. (very close & really nice!)

For our apartment dynamic, we often spontaneously find ourselves in the Kitchen with tea (Charlotte) and wine (Lisa) where we quickly lose all sense of time talking. Within the next semester, Lisa wants to teach me how to cook - we'd be excited if you'd like to join, whether as another student or Chef xD

As a WG we like to see each other and know what's happening in each others' lives but also encourage an atmosphere where we can all go into our respective rooms and recharge without having to feel guilty about it :)

We also have a balcony and a living room, which at the moment is being used as an office and laundry room. However, starting in April we would enjoy making use of the room and balcony in a more community-based sense. That is why the pictures of this room at the moment are not really "homey", hopefully, this will soon change! In the summer it will become a real oasis! If you have any furniture or plants feel free to mention them, we bet we can find a good use for them!

Wenn dich unsere WG-Anzeige angesprochen hast, dann kontaktiere uns am besten über WG-Gesucht. Wir fänden es schön, wenn du dich vorstellen würdest beispielsweise was du in Göttingen studierst, was dein Lieblingseis ist und womit du gerne deine Zeit verbringst! Wenn du noch Fragen hast, dann schick sie auch gerne mit. Wir befinden uns momentan in der Klausurenphase, also nicht Wundern, wenn wir nicht direkt antworten, wir bearbeiten die Nachrichten schnellstmöglich! :)
Grundsätzlich kann die WG in Person oder online besichtigt werden je nach Coronasituation, sag am Besten was dir lieber! Selbstverständlich lassen wir uns davor testen und bitten dich ebenfalls einen Test zu machen!

Die bisherigen WG-Mitglieder haben die Waschmaschine gekauft und wie hoch der Abschlag dafür ausfällt ist noch nicht ganz klar. Bis zur WG-Besichtigung sollten wir aber mehr Wissen.

One last organizational thing, our previous constellation of tenants bought the washing machine and would like to receive a percentage of the price paid for it. At the moment, we are not completely sure about how high this would be, but we would have that figured out be the time of the viewings :)
