Da ich den März über nicht in Göttingen sein werde, suchen meine Mitbewohnerin Carla und ich nach einer Person zur Zwischenmiete. Wir wohnen zu zweit in einer schnuckeligen Wohnung, die wir mit viel Liebe eingerichtet haben. Besonders schön fand ich immer unser gemeinsames Wohnzimmer, das zwar klein, aber dafür umso gemütlicher ist. Die Wohnung hat auch einen Garten, den man sich mit den anderen Hausbewohner:innen teilt. Apropos die anderen Hausbewohner:innen, die sind alle super nett und entspannt.
Das Zimmer ist mit 10qm zwar recht klein, überzeugt aber durch ein großes Fenster mit Blick auf den Garten. Weil wir auch ein Wohnzimmer haben, hat mich die Größe des Zimmers nie gestört.
Since I will not be in Göttingen in March, my flatmate Carla and I are looking for a nice person to rent our apartment with. The two of us live in a cute flat that we have furnished with a lot of love. I've always enjoyed spending time in our shared living room, which is small but very cosy. The flat also has a garden, which we share with the other residents. Speaking of the other residents, they are all very nice and relaxed people.
The room is quite small (10 square metres), but has a large window with a view of the garden. Because we also have a living room, the size of the room never bothered me.
Die Wohnung liegt für mich ziemlich ideal in der Südstadt. Das Viertel ist richtig schön mit mit vielen Altbauhäusern, man ist schnell raus aus der Stadt (circa 10 Minuten zu Fuß bis ins Grüne) und auch ziemlich nach an der Innenstadt (ebenfalls 10 Minuten zu Fuß). Besonders die Nähe zum Baggersee, wo man auch schwimmen gehen kann, zum Kiessee und zum Schwimmbad Eiswiesen, fand ich immer praktisch. Auch den Zentralcampus erreicht man innerhalb von 10-15 Minuten Fahrrad fahren.
For me, the flat is ideally located. The neighbourhood is really nice with lots of old buildings, you can get out of the city quickly (about a 10-minute walk to the countryside) and you are also quite close to the city centre (also a 10-minute walk). I've always liked the proximity to the Baggersee, a lake where you can go swimming, to the Kiessee and to the Eiswiesen. You can also reach the central campus within 10-15 minutes by bike.
Du würdest mit Carla zusammen wohnen. Sie ist 21 Jahre alt und studiert BWL. Carla ist eine sehr liebe, verständnisvolle Person und eine sehr angenehme Mitbewohnerin. Auch wenn wir beide recht viel unterwegs sind, versuchen wir so oft es geht gemeinsam Kaffee zu trinken und zu quatschen.
Das WG Leben war in der Vergangenheit immer eher ruhiger, da wir ja nur zu zweit waren. Trotzdem haben wir gerne auch mal ein paar mehr Leute eingeladen (das Wohnzimmer hat eine Belastungsgrenze von 10 Personen :) ). Besonders der Garten eignet sich gut zum Grillen und draußen Zeit verbringen. Mit den anderen Hausbewohner:innen haben wir in letzter Zeit auch recht viel Zeit verbracht, die sind nämlich auch super lieb :)
You would live with Carla. She is 21 years old and studies business administration. Carla is a very kind, understanding person and a very pleasant flatmate. Even though we both don´t spend that much time inside the flat, we try to have coffee together and chat as often as possible.
In the past, life in the flat was always rather quiet, as there were only two of us. Nevertheless, we enjoy inviting others to our flat (the living room has a limit of 10 people :) ). The garden is especially nice for barbecues and spending time outside. Lately, we have also spent a lot of time with the other residents of the house.
