We are looking for a flatmate in an apartment close to the north campus on Am Ebelhof in Göttingen-Weende, starting 01.10.2020.
The apartment consists of 3 rooms, bathroom and a kitchen. These are connected by a corridor, but otherwise separated. The kitchen has a 4-burners infrared stove, an oven and a fridge (with freezer).
The room is furnished (to an extent), the furniture in pictures (including double-desk table, carpet, chair, DIY-bed incl. mattress pillow & bed sheet & blanket) can be bought for a total of 100 € (or a negotiated price).
Included in the rent are lockable basement storage room (e.g. for bicycles) and a car parking lot, currently unused. A washing machine is supposed to be installed by that date.

Wir suchen zum 01.10.2020 eine/n Mitbewohner/in in einem Apartment nahe dem Nordcampus, Am Ebelhof in Göttingen-Weende.
Die Wohnung besteht aus 3 Zimmern, Küche, Bad. Sämtlich durch einen Flur miteinander verbunden, aber ansonsten voneinander getrennt. Die Küche ist mit einem modernern Ofen & Herd ausgestattet; der Kühlschrank mit Eisfach.
Das Zimmer ist größtenteils möbliert. Die abgebildeten Möbel (einschließlich Doppelschreibtisch, Teppich & Stuhl) können für insgesamt 100 € gekauft werden (Preis ist verhandelbar).
Das "Heimwerkerbett (200 x 90 cm)" mit Matratze und waschbarem Matratzenbezug ist kostenlos.
Zum Zeitpunkt deines Einzuges soll eine Waschmaschine bereits im Keller eingebaut sein. Weiterhin gibt es einen abschließbarer Kellerraum, u.A. als Abstellplatz für Fahrräder; und einen Parkplatz am Ebelhof selber.
There are several bus stops 300-500m away - e.g. Krankenhaus Wende, Herman-Rhein-Strasse and Am Papenberg, you can get to the city center within 15 minutes. There are many bike routes, the bike expressway is nearby.
About 500m away there's a shopping center (Tegut, DM, pharmacy, kiosk/tobacco shop, Burgerking, Domino's and Subway).
North campus starts just across the road.
The Clinic Library and University Sport Center are also easily accessible, about 600m away.

Es gibt viele Bushaltestellen im Umkreis von 300-500m; u.A Krankenhaus Weende, Hermann-Rhein-Straße und Am Papenberg; man kann das Stadtzentrum innerhalb von 15 Minuten erreichen. Es gibt eine Menge Fahrradwege, u.A. den Göttinger Fahrradschnellweg, in unmittelbarer Nähe.
In etwa 500 Metern Entfernung liegt ein größeres Shopping Center (u.A. mit tegut, DM, einer Apotheke, einen Kiosk/Tabakladen, Burgerking, Domino's und Subway).
Der Nordcampus beginnt auf der anderen Straßenseite.
Das Klinikum und das Unisportgelände sind ebenfalls nur etwa 600m entfernt.
Life in the WG is quite easy going. We are trying to have it be somewhat of a golden middle between a utilitarian "zweck-WG" and "mandatory friendship" WG. Share a beer with your flatmates, or eat a dinner by yourself in your room - it's up to you.
We are quite chill when it comes to rest at night. For example, if you're a nightowl - you can stay up all night: as long as you're not dancing and playing drums - we won't care too much (within reason, but that should be obvious).
Parties in the house are not too often, several neighboring flats are rented by families, so the whole apartment complex is rather quiet.
We're not cleaning freaks, but definitely want to keep the apartment at least somewhat clean. Everyone takes care of his/her room, and helps to clean rest of the flat (also buying e.g. dishwashing liquid if we're running out and such). We don't have any "mandatory schedule", and so far it works well regardless.

Das Leben in der WG ist ziemlich entspannt. Wir versuchen, eine Art 'goldener Mitte' zwischen 'Zweck-WG' und 'mandatory friendship' (mir fällt auch kein deutsches Wort ein) zu erreichen. Ob du mal ein Bier mit deinen Mitbewohnern trinken möchtest oder dich zum Essen in deinen Raum zurückziehst; es ist dir überlassen.
Wir sind recht entspannt, wenn es um die Nachtruhe geht. Wenn du zum Beispiel ein Nachtschwärmer sind - Sie können die ganze Nacht aufbleiben. Natürlich sollte aber trotzdem einige Rücksicht eingehalten werden, das ist selbstverständlich
So oft wird im Haus nicht gefeiert - viele der umliegenden Apartments sind von Familien gemietet, der gesamte Apartmentkomplex ist eher ruhig.
Ich bin auch kein Sauberkeitsfanatiker, aber ich versuche definitiv die Bude sauber zu halten. Jeder reinigt sein eigenes Zimmer und hilft mit, die gemeinsamen Räume ebenfalls sauber zu halten (und z.B. ab und zu nachzugucken was wir noch an Vorräten haben, und etwa Geschirrspülmittel nachzukaufen, wenn wir keines mehr haben). Wir haben keinen "verbindlichen Küchenplan", und bisher funktioniert das trotzdem gut.
The room will be free on the 01.10.20. We can sign the new contract with you as soon as you've decided. The earlier the better! And: First come, first serve!
DUE TO THE CURRENT CORONA PANDEMIC, we can - if desired - offer a first Skype call & a digital 'room tour', and can take more pictures as desired. Should you decide to come visit in person, we'd appreciate the usual safety procedures (and will stick to them as well, e.g. face masks, reasonable distance etc.)

WEGEN DER AKTUELLEN CORONA-KRISE kann ein erstes Skype-Gespräch & eine digitale 'Roomtour' arrangiert werden. Solltest du persönlich vorbeikommen wollen, möchte ich um die Einhaltung der üblichen Sicherheitsregeln (Mundschutz, Abstand etc.) bitten und werde diese auch selber einhalten.
Bei Interesse können wir Begehungen an den meisten Tagen zwischen 10 und 21 Uhr arrangieren. Wenn es noch weitere Fragen gibt - einfach fragen!
