Das Zimmer ist etwa 24m² groß und bietet genug Platz für ein Bett, Sofa, Schränke, einen großen Tisch etc. Zu dem Zimmer gehört auch ein großer sonniger Balkon, der ebenfalls genug Platz bietet um mit ein paar Leuten am Tisch zu sitzen (ca. 7,7m²). Der Balkon ist nach Westen ausgerichtet und offen, also ab mittags kommt die Sonne für den Rest des Tages rum.
Das Badezimmer beinhaltet eine Badewanne mit Dusche, ein Waschbecken und eine Waschmaschine. Es gibt einen extra Raum mit einer Toilette und einem weiteren Waschbecken, was sehr praktisch ist wenn gerade jemand anders unter der Dusche ist. :)
Die Küche beinhaltet einen großen Kühlschrank mit Gefrierschrank, Herd mit Backofen, Mikrowelle, Spüle, einen Tisch mit Stühlen und genug Platz zum Verstauen der Lebensmittel.
Ein weiterer Raum wird zum Trocknen der Wäsche genutzt.
Zur Wohnung gehört ein großer Kellerraum in dem man sehr viele Sachen unterbringen kann. Im Keller ist auch ein Fahrradraum.
Vor dem Haus sind Gratis-Parkplätze. Ich hatte nie ein Problem, dort einen freien Parkplatz zu finden.
Die 389€ beinhalten alle Kosten (auch Strom und Internet).
The room is around 24m² and has enough space to place a bed, couch, cabinets, a big table etc. Also to this room belongs a big sunny balcony which also has enough space to have a table to sit with a bunch of people (around 7.7m²). The balcony is directed to the west and open, so around noon the sun will come around for the rest of the day.
The bath room contains a bath tub with shower, a sink and a washing machine. There is an extra room with a toilet and another sink, which is really convenient when someone else is under the shower. :)
The kitchen contains a big fridge with freezer, stove with oven , microwave, a sink, a table with chairs and enough space to store the food.
Another room is used to dry the laundry.
To the flat belongs a big room in the cellar where you can store a lot of stuff. Also in the cellar there is a room to park your bycicle.
In front of the house are car parking spaces to use for free. I never had a problem to find a free parking space there.
The 389€ include all of the costs (also electricity and internet).
Die Wohnung ist sehr nah am Nord-Campus (ein paar Minuten zu Fuß, gleich über die große Straße) und dem Klinikum (15 Minuten zu Fuß). Außerdem erreicht man zu Fuß in ein paar Minuten einen Tegut Supermarkt, DM, eine Apotheke, Burger King, Subway und Domino’s Pizza. Ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß braucht man zu einem Real.
Bushaltestellen in alle Richtungen sind gleich um die Ecke.
The flat is very close to the Nord Campus (a few minutes by foot, just over the big street) and the Klinikum (15 minutes by foot). Also just a few minutes by foot you can reach a Tegut supermarket, DM drug store, pharmacy, Burger King, Subway and Domino’s Pizza. Around 15 minutes by foot you can reach a Real supermarket.
There are bus stops in all directions just around the corner.
Du wirst mit Mamadeh und Souleyman zusammenwohnen, welche echt nette Kerle sind. Sie sprechen Deutsch und Englisch. Einen Großteil des Tages sind sie nicht zu Hause (jedenfalls wenn Corona es zulässt…), also hast du die Wohnung die meiste Zeit für dich. Aber wenn sie da sind, trifft man sich oft in der Küche und erzählen und lachen. Die Privatsphäre und Ruhe werden aber stark respektiert.
Gerne teilen sie auch ihr leckeres afrikanisches Essen (probier das Banku aus!). Generell kauft sich jeder eigentlich seine eigenen Sachen, aber niemand hat ein Problem etwas von seinen Sachen zu teilen.
Wir haben einen Putzplan, also jedes Wochenende ist jemand anderes dran, die Küche, Bad, Toilette und Flur zu putzen. Aber manchmal haben wir auch gemeinsam geputzt oder manchmal hat bereits auch schon wer anders geputzt, als ich eigentlich dran war, bevor ich überhaupt anfangen konnte. :) Die Privatzimmer sind natürlich jedermanns eigene Verantwortung.
You will live with Mamadeh and Souleyman, which are really nice guys. They speak German and English. A big part of the day they are not at home (at least when Corona allows it…), so you will have the flat for you for most of the time. But when they are there we often meet in the kitchen and talk and laugh. But privacy and need for silence are strongly respected.
Often they like to share their delicious African food (try the Banku!). Generally actually everyone buys their own stuff, but no one has a problem with sharing some of theirs.
We have a cleaning schedule, so every weekend it is someone else’s turn to clean the kitchen, bath room, toilet and floor. But sometimes we were cleaning it together and sometimes when it was actually my turn, someone else already did it before I could even start. :) The private rooms are of course each one’s own responsibility.
