The room to be rented is a 16 sqm room with a balcony. The cost for the rent is 541€ (cold + warm rent, which includes the central heating and water costs) plus 80€ of additional costs (electricity and internet).
The room has big windows to the west and a nice balcony with beautiful sunsets and nice conditions for growing plants. The adjustable LED lights make evening lighting perfect for relaxing and reading. Most of the furniture in the room can be sold for a negotiable price.
The room is located in a two people shared flat with two bedrooms, a livingroom, a bathroom and a kitchen. The kitchen has plenty of room, cupboards and drawers to store your belongings. In addition the kitchen is provided with a shared fridge, washing machine and electric stove. Each flat has their own private basement where you can store your things and a also a shared space to store the bike. There is also a shared room to dry large laundry and the building has a garden all around it.
The flat is located in Weende which is a quiet neighbourhood. The North Campus is located at a close distance of 15 min walk or by the 20s buses. The flat is well communicated with the city center and the North Campus since there are several bus stops around: 91 and 92 (4 min walk), 31, 32 and 34 (5 min walk), 41, 42 (8 min walk) and 20, 21 and 23 (10 min walk). There is a an Aldi at around 10 min and a Tegut, DM and several restaurants within less than 15 min walk. Edeka and Rewe are also at within 20 minutes walk. There is a couple of GP doctors, a pharmacy, a bakery and a kiosk at a couple of minutes distance. There are two post offices both at around 15 min walk. The “Freibad Weende” is at 15 min walk. Public parking slots are available on the street in front of the house.
The flat is shared with 1 PhD student (Spanish and English speaking) and her lovely cat. Your flatmate will be a molecular biology and bioinformatics PhD student who likes cooking, baking, painting and making arts and crafts.
We are searching for someone who likes cats and speaks English (or Spanish). The life in the flat is quiet and based on respect for each other's space. We can have some occasional activities together, like having dinner together or watching a film.

The room has all the necessary furniture which the previous tennant would like to sell for a discounted price to the one taking over the apartment. There is a bed, mattress, couch, bookshelf, working table, chairs, cupboard, and a small coffee table. Preferably you should be willing to take over the current furniture.
