WG-Zimmer zur Zwischenmiete / room for intermediate rent

Die Dreizimmerwohnung befindet sich in der Göttinger Weststadt (Blümchenviertel). Daher sind die Wege in die Innenstadt/zur Uni/zum Bahnhof recht kurz. Mit dem Fahrrad ist Mensch in unter 10 min fast überall (wenn ich es mal eilig hab können es auch mal 6 Minuten sein 😉). Trotz der Nähe zur Innenstadt würde ich die Gegend als ruhig beschreiben, die ich vor allem durch die Nähe zur Leine und zum nächstgelegenen Wald sehr zu schätzen gelernt habe.

The three-room apartment is located in the Weststadt of Göttingen (Blümchenviertel). Therefore, the paths to the city center/university/train station are quite short. You'll be almost everywhere by bike in 10 minutes (when I’m in a hurry it can also be 6 minutes 😉). Despite the proximity to the city center, I would describe the area as quiet. I have also learned to appreciate the location through the proximity to the Leine and the nearby forest.

Für den Zeitraum wirst du mit meinen Mitbewohnis Lisa und Markus zusammenleben, mit denen ich nun schon seit drei Jahren die Wohnung teile. Das WG-Leben ist sehr familiär und freundschaftlich. Damit du dir ein Bild von den beiden machen kannst, hier eine kurze Vorstellung:

Lisa (25) hat gerade erfolgreich ihren Zweifach-Bachelor in Soziologie und VWL absolviert und arbeitet zurzeit bei einem Start-Up in der Göttingen Innenstadt. Sie lebt für ihren Sport und die Liebe zur Musik (Hardstyle). Dank Corona und einem break up entwickelte Lisa eine dezente Pflanzen-addiction, sodass wir nun weitere 32 Mitbewohnis haben (aber keine Sorge, die wohnen alle in Lisas Zimmer). Wenn nicht gerade eine Pandemie ist, geht sie auf 25 Festivals im Jahr. Sie ist also gerne unterwegs und fährt an den Wochenenden auch mal nach Holland. Dennoch ist sie auch für gemeinsame WG-Abende immer zu haben. Lisa ist eine aufgeweckte und positive Person, die durchweg gute Energie verbreitet!

Markus (23) studiert im 6. Semester Politikwissenschaft und Soziologie. Neben dem Studium arbeitet er am SOFI und engagiert sich für die Seebrücke Göttingen. Außerdem ist er als Erstsemestertutor in der sozialwissenschaftlichen Orientierungsphase aktiv. Er geht gerne zum Sport und kümmert sich liebevoll um die Bananenstaude auf dem Balkon. Wenn er dort nicht anzutreffen ist, wirst du ihn wahrscheinlich bei einem Bio-Pils im Innenhof des Dots antreffen. Markus ist ein sehr entspannter und humorvoller Mensch.

Das WG-Leben kennzeichnet sich vor allem durch die Gemeinschaft und offene Kommunikation. Uns ist besonders wichtig, dass sich jede*r wohlfühlt. Wir kochen und essen gerne zusammen (überwiegend vegan), spazieren zum Kiosk oder verbringen die Sommernächte gemeinsam auf dem Balkon. Das Zusammenleben ist familiär und entspannt, da wir auf einen respektvollen und rücksichtsvollen Umgang miteinander Wert legen. Wir unternehmen zwar gerne viel gemeinsam, dennoch hat jeder von uns sein eigenes Leben, sodass nichts verpflichtend ist. Alles kann, nichts muss.

During this period, you will be living with my roommates Lisa and Markus, with whom I have been sharing the flat for three years now. The flat-share life is very familial and open. So that you can get a picture of the two, here is a brief introduction:

Lisa (25) has just successfully completed her dual-subject Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Economics and is currently working for a start-up in Göttingen city center. She lives for the sport and her love for music (hardstyle). Thanks to Corona and a breakup, Lisa developed a small plant addiction, so we now have another 32 roommates (but don’t worry, they all live in Lisa’s room). When there is no pandemic, she normally goes to 25 festivals a year. So she likes to travel and sometimes goes to Holland on weekends. Nevertheless, it she is always available for evenings at the balcony. Lisa is a bright and positive person who spreads good energy throughout!

Markus (23) is studying political science and sociology in his 6th semester. In addition to his studies, he is working at the SOFI and is involved in the Seebrücke Göttingen. He is also active as a first-semester tutor in the social science orientation phase. He likes to go to the gym and lovingly takes care of the banana bush on the balcony. If he’s not there, you’ll probably find him at the Dot’s courtyard drinking a bio-pils. Markus is a very relaxed and humorous person.

Living in a shared flat is characterized above all by the community and open communication. It is particularly important to us that everyone feels comfortable. Therefore, we highly value respectful and fair interaction with each other. We like to cook and eat together (mostly vegan), walk to the Kiosk or spend the summer nights together on the balcony. We like to do a lot together, but each of us has her or his own life, so nothing is obligatory. Anything can, nothing has to.
