Dein Zimmer ist ca 16 m² groß mit Ausblick auf den Balkon und in die Gärten hinter dem Haus. Die Wohnung im Hochparterre hat eine kleine Küche mit Waschmaschine, ein zusätzliches Ess- und Gemeinschaftszimmer sowie einen großen Flur und ein Bad mit Badewanne. Auf den Balkon gelangt man über mein Zimmer (oder dein Fenster :D), du kannst ihn natürlich jederzeit mitbenutzen und im Frühling und Sommer dort die Sonne geniessen. Außerdem gehört zur Wohnung noch ein kleiner Kellerraum. Die Fenster sowie Wohnungstür wurden erst letztes Jahr ausgetauscht, dementsprechend ist die Wohnung gut wärme- und geräuschisoliert.
You will be living in a nice room (~16m²] overlooking the neighbours’ gardens in the back of the house. The flat is situated on the 1st floor, we have a small kitchen with a washing machine and an additional dining room as well as a large hallway and a bathroom with a tub. You can access the balcony through my room (or your window, if you like :D), and you’re welcome to hang out and enjoy the sun during spring and summer! There’s also a small storage room in the basement, and the windows as well as the door to the flat have been updated to new models last August, meaning we have good insulation and noise-cancelation (the street is pretty quiet though).
Die Wohnung liegt in der Weststadt, nur 3 Bushaltestellen oder wenige Fahrradminuten von der Innenstadt und vom Hauptcampus entfernt. Verschiedene Einkaufsmöglichkeiten von Discounter bis Bio, das Groner Naturfreibad und die Saline als Wellnessoase sind in der Nachbarschaft schnell erreichbar. Falls du ein Auto hast, sind in der Straße ausreichend kostenlose Parkplätze vorhanden.
The flat is located in Göttingen’s Weststadt, only a few minutes by bus or bike from the city centre and the university’s central campus. There are plenty of shops in the neighbourhood, from discount store to organic wholefoods. Additionally, you can easily reach Grone’s public swimming pool and the wellness center Saline. If you own a car, there are plenty of free parking spots in front of the house and in the street.
Ich (Lille, w, 29) bin gerade in den letzten Zügen meines Masterstudiums in Englischer Literatur und arbeite in Teilzeit im Deutschen Theater. Da ich gerade meine Abschlussarbeit schreibe, verbringe ich viel Zeit an der Uni. Ich liebe (vegan) kochen und teile das auch sehr gerne mit Freunden (und natürlich Mitbewohner*innen ;)). Für gemütliche Spieleabende, einen Serien-Binge, gute Gespräche, Theater oder ausgehen bin ich meistens zu haben. Außer mir wohnt auch meine Hauskatze Motte mit in der WG. Motte ist eine Katzendame im besten Alter (15) und leicht schwerhörig. Sie liebt schmusen, Snacks, lange Naps im Kuschelbett, und vom Balkon oder Fenster aus Vögel zu beobachten. Manchmal ist sie etwas verwirrt und miaut sehr laut, das lässt sich aber mit etwas Aufmerksamkeit und Zuneigung gut regeln.
You will be living with me (Lille, f, 29). I’m finishing up my M.A. in English Literature and work part time at the theatre, and, since I’m currently writing my thesis, I spend a lot of time at the university. I love (vegan) cooking and like to share the results with my friends, and of course, also my flatmates ;) I like good conversations, game nights, theatre, nights out, and you can definitely count me in if you want to binge a new series! Apart from me, my housecat Motte is also living in the flat. She is a lovely senior cat (15) and a little hearing impaired. She likes cuddles, snacks, long naps in her fluffy bed, and sitting on the balcony or in the window to watch birds. Sometimes she gets a little confused due to her age and starts meowing rather loudly, which usually means she wants some attention and love.
