Das Zimmer selbst besitzt 13 Quadratmeter und würde idealerweise teilmöbliert übergeben werden. Die Miete beträgt derzeit € 350, höchstwahrscheinlich wird sich dieser Betrag aber reduzieren, sobald wir bei den Heizkosten neu eingestuft werden.
The room itself has got 13 square meters and will ideally be handed over partly furnished. Right now, the rent is € 350 but it will probably go down a little because we pay a lot for heating right now.
Die Wohnung liegt direkt nördlich vom Schlossberg,10-15 Gehminuten von KFU und Hauptplatz entfernt. Direkt vor der Haustür ist die 41er Haltestelle „Grabenkirche“, in unmittelbarer Nähe sind außerdem die Linien 63, 58, 39, 4 und 5. Das Haus war bei einem Architektenwettbewerb ausgeschrieben, weshalb es sich nicht um einen klassischen Neubau handelt. Die Wohnung befindet sich im 2. Stock ohne Lift, erstreckt sich über 3 Stockwerke und hat 107 Quadratmeter. Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine, Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine und auch sonst alles wichtige ist vorhanden.
The apartment is situated north of the Schlossberg, only 10 to 15 minutes by foot distance from the University and/or the Main Square. Bus line 41 leaves right in front of the building but the lines 4, 5, 39, 58 and 63 are also close by. The building participated in an architectural competition which is why it doesn’t look like an ordinary new build. The flat is located on the 2nd floor without an elevator, it has got 3 floors and 107 square meters. We’ve got a dishwasher, a washing machine, a microwave, a coffee machine and everything else that’s important.
Neben mir (aber ich ziehe ja aus) wohnen noch Cecilia (23, arbeitet und studiert Psychologie), Elisa (22, studiert Volksschullehramt) und Quentin (23, aus Frankreich, arbeitet an der Meduni) in der WG. Als fünften Mitbewohner sind wir Gastfamilie eines supersüßen Welpen (mittlerweile eher schon ein Teenager), welcher zum Diabeteswarnhund ausgebildet wird. Wenn Antonio fertig ausgebildet ist und zu einer anderen Familie kommt, werden wir ein neues „Baby“ bekommen. Cecilia und Quentin kümmern sich um den Welpen, du hättest keine Verantwortung. Außerdem verliert er keine Haare und auch für Allergiker sollte es keine Probleme geben.
Wir suchen keine reine Zweck-WG, da wir gerne etwas miteinander unternehmen, sei es Eis essen, Serien schauen, Billard spielen gehen, oder immer wieder auch Spieleabende veranstalten, zu denen viele Freunde eingeladen werden (und bei denen die Teilnahme aber natürlich nicht verpflichtend ist). Prinzipiell läuft alles sehr unkompliziert und kollegial ab, wenn jemand kocht, dann machen wir zum Beispiel meistens eine größere Portion, damit die anderen auch noch davon essen können.
Excluding myself (since I'm the one moving out), Cecilia (23, working and studying psychology), Elisa (22, studying to become an elementary school teacher) and Quentin (22, from France, working at Meduni) are currently living in the apartment. We also host a super-cute puppy who is trained to become a diabetes service dog. He’ll leave in a few months, but we’ll get another puppy. Cecilia and Quentin take care of him, you’ll have no responsibility, but you shouldn’t be afraid of dogs. Besides, he doesn’t lose any hair, so even if you’re slightly allergic there shouldn’t be a problem.
We like doing stuff together, so we’re not looking for a purely purpose-oriented flat community. Sometimes, we’re going out for an ice-cream, watch shows together, play billiard or organize a games night where we invite lots of friends and/or play the guitar (and of course, participation isn’t mandatory). We like keeping things uncomplicated, which is for example why we often leave food for the others.
Zu vergeben ist das Zimmer ab August, da ich dann in Wien bin. Wenn ihr Fragen habt und Lust habt vorbei zu kommen, dann schreibt einfach eine Nachricht!
