Das Zimmer ist wirklich großzügig (28 qm) und bietet viel Spielraum zur Eigengestaltung. Da ich das Zimmer zwischenvermiete, bleiben alle Möbel drin, das beinhaltet Schreibtisch, Sessel, Regal, Bett, Sofa, Fernseher und mein Klavier und Gitarre, falls du musikalisch bist :)
Das Sofa ist ausziehbar und kann als (Doppel-)Gästebett verwendet werden.
Das Zimmer hat die altbautypischen hohen Decken sowie Parkettboden. Zwei hohe Fenster bieten viel Lichteinstrahlung.
Eine kleine Besonderheit des Zimmers ist die Einbuchtung, in der das Bett steht.
Die WG ist insgesamt sehr groß (130 qm), wir haben eine große Küche, einen Balkon und können den Garten des Wohnhauses mitbenutzen.

This room is considerably large (28 sqm) and holds a lot of space for your personal arrangement. It's available for sublease, so I'll leave all of my furniture in the room. That includes my desk, chairs, shelf, bed, couch, TV and my piano and guitar, if you're musically interested :)
The flat is considered an "Altbau", meaning it's an older kind of architectural style which includes high ceilings, parquet floors and large windows (among other things), which let through a lot of sunlight.
Additionally, the room isn't of a simple square shape, it instead "goes around the corner", where i put the bed.
The Couch can be rearranged into a guest bed for up to 2 people.
The flat is itself pretty large (130 sqm). We have a big kitchen, a balcony, as well as a garden, which belongs to the house and can be used by us, too.
Das Herz-Jesu-Viertel ist sehr ruhig und idyllisch, gleichzeitig aber ziemlich zentral gelegen.
An die Öffentlichen ist man hier super angebunden, man läuft nicht mal 5 Minuten zum Schillerplatz, von dem man aus sehr schnell mit dem Bus oder der Bim in die Stadt kommt.
KFU-Studierende laufen circa 15 Minuten zur Uni, den Jackpot haben aber TU-Studierende, da man in 5 Minuten bei der TU ist.
Bei Supermärkten hat man auch eine gute Wahl: Zu Fuß braucht man etwa 5 Minuten zum Billa, 10 zum Lidl oder Spar.
Natürlich ist man in Graz mit einem Fahrrad klar im Vorteil, man erreicht damit eigentlich alles Wichtige in unter 10 Minuten.

We're in the Herz-Jesu district, which is very calm and idyllic, but at the same time quite close to the city.
It's less than 5 minutes to the nearest bus / tram station (Schillerplatz), from which you can reach the city center quickly.
If you're studying at KFU, it'll take you about 15 minutes to get there, jackpot if you're studying at TU, then you'll need about 5 minutes.
You've also got a good variety of supermarkets to choose from: Lidl (cheapest), Spar and Billa (most expensive) are all between 5 - 10 Minutes walking distance away.
Having a bike in Graz is generally a good idea; you'll reach about everything important in 10 Minutes or less.
Obwohl die WG eigentlich nur 3 Mietzimmer hat, sind wir seit ein paar Monaten zu viert, da eins der Zimmer wirklich gigantisch ist und jetzt an zwei Personen vermietet ist. Das sind Lea und Joscha, die beiden sind Tanzlehrer und zwei der liebsten Menschen, die ich kenne. Man sieht sich zwar nicht so oft, da sie durch ihre Tätigkeit abends arbeiten und lange ausschlafen, aber wir haben trotzdem ein echt nettes Miteinander.
Im anderen Zimmer wohnt Erik. Er studiert Medizin und ist daher viel beschäftigt, aber auch ein sehr umgänglicher und netter Kerl.
Insgesamt machen wir nicht allzu viel gemeinsam, da es sich wegen dem Studium / Beruf einfach nicht gut ausgeht. Wir sind gleichzeitig keine Zweck-WG. Wenn sich die Zeit bietet, quatschen wir gerne in der Küche, kochen zusammen oder gehen fort.
Perfekt für Dich, wenn du Dich mit deiner WG gut verstehen willst, aber deinen sozialen MIttelpunkt außerhalb der WG hast.

Although this flat holds only 3 rentable rooms, since a few months we're 4 people living here, as one of the rooms is enourmous in size and is now rented by two people. These two are Lea and Joscha, who work as dance teachers. They are some of the kindest people I know. We don't see eachother all too often, since they usually work in the evening and sleep until noon, but we still enjoy the time that we share.
The other room is rented by Erik. He's studying medicine and has a lot of work to do because of it. Still, he's a very nice and affable guy.
Because of university / work, we can't spend that much time together. However when we all have time, we like to come together in the kitchen, cook together or go to parties.
This should suit you if you want to enjoy your time in the flat (who doesn't) but still have your social focal point outside of it.

Ich bin Steffen, 21 und Psychologiestudent hier an der KFU.
Über mein Auslandssemester in Schottland stelle ich mein Zimmer zur Zwischenmiete zur Verfügung. Wie bereits oben erwähnt, lasse ich Dir gerne alle Möbel zur Verwendung im Zimmer. Natürlich kannst Du trotzdem alles so einrichten, wie es Dir gefällt.
Der Zeitraum ist von April bis Juni angesetzt, da mein Semester so lange geht. Allerdings habe ich über das restliche Semester keine Uni mehr hier und bin nicht an das Zimmer gebunden. Falls du also planst, bis länger als Juni zu bleiben, können wir sicher eine Abmachung treffen :)

I'm Steffen, 21 years old and studying psychology here at KFU.
During my Erasmus stay in Scotland this room is available for sublease. Like mentioned before, I'll gladly leave all of my furniture for you in the room. Of course you can still arrange everthing how you like.
The sublease is set between April to June, as that's the duration of my semester. However, after my stay abroad I don't have to necessarily move back in to my room for the rest of the semester, as I don't have to attend any courses at KFU. Therefore, if you plan to stay a few months longer than just June, I'm sure we'll figure out a solution :)
