As one of four rooms in a large apartment, this room is roughly 25 sqm in size and has plenty of floor space. The room comes complete with a single bed, sofa bed, set of draws/cupboards, a generously sized wardrobe, a coffee table, bed-side table and two desks with desk chairs.
The windows are large and let in lots of light during the day, but there are also effective blinds and shutters so that you can keep the room dark at night.
There are two radiators in the room which are effective at keeping the room a comfortable temperature when it's cold.
Opening windows and looking north lets you get a lovely view of everyone's favourite 'Schlossberg' which lights up every night as the sun goes down.
The apartment block is situated about 10-15 minutes by foot from Jakominiplatz and extremely close to the gorgeous 'Park Städtischer Augarten'. There are also main tram routes just a 2 minute walk away.
When it comes to grocery shopping, there are 2 large supermarkets within a 2 minute walk of the apartment. These are 'Hofer' and 'Merkur', but there are also two 'spar' shops slightly further away.
The apartment has a well-equipped kitchen, so there's no need to worry about bringing cutlery or dishes. There's also a dish washer, two large fridges and an adequately sized freezer.
Thanks to being on the third floor of the apartment block, there's a very nice view of the sunrise out of the bathroom window which makes getting up for lectures or work in the morning significantly more rewarding.
The bathroom is complete with a bath, shower, and two sinks with (newly replaced) mirrored-cabinets above them. The shower is very quick to warm up and has easy to use controls. There is also a washing machine and dryer inside the bathroom which work without issue.
Overall a very easy to live in apartment with no issues.
I would preferably be contacted by email, as I check it several times per day:
On the whole, this is a very conveniently located, reasonably priced room which suits its purpose whether you're working or studying in Graz. The landlord is flexible and friendly and is very quick to respond to any potential issues with the apartment (for example: plumbing). I've had no problems throughout my 5 month tenancy.
