Die Türen zu unserer wunderbaren WG öffnen sich! Ab ca. Anfang Jänner wird ein Zimmer frei, weil ich diese wunderschöne Wohnung leider verlasse.
Das Zimmer in unserer schönen Altbauwohnung hat ca. 35 m², sehr hohe Decken und zwei sehr großes Fenster. Vor dem Fenster ist ein kleiner Platz, wodurch der Blick sehr offen ist, viel Licht hereinkommt und einem glücklicherweise auch niemand von direkt gegenüber reinschauen kann. Auf dem extrabreit ausgebauten Fensterbrett lässt sich wunderbar das Treiben auf der Rechbauerstraße beobachten, der Ausblick reicht sogar so tief in den Stadtpark, dass man im Sommer den Menschen beim Spikeball spielen und auf der Wiese sitzen zuschauen kann. Außerdem hat man im Sommer 4-6 Stunden direkte Sonne an diesem Fensterbrett, was es für mich in den zwei Jahren, die ich in dieser Wohnung gewohnt habe, zu einem der magischsten Orten in ganz Graz gemacht hat. Als kleines Schmankerl oben drauf verfügt dieses Zimmer sogar über ein kleines Waschbecken in der Ecke, was nicht nur besondere Privatsphäre bei der eignen Hygiene ermöglicht, sondern auch den weiten Weg in die Küche zum Wasser holen erspart. Das Zimmer ist nämlich das Eckzimmer der Wohnung, was es nicht nur in sich ruhiger macht, sondern auch den Vorteil hat, dass man abends mal Musik laufen lassen kann. Obwohl wir meist ein sehr aktives WG Leben führen, ist der Raum jederzeit ein ruhiger Rückzugsort. Dank gefühlten 2 Metern Wand hört man die Zimmer nebenan gar nicht. Ich liebe den Raum, was soll man noch zu sagen. Die Miete beträgt 530€ Euro inklusive allem. Einige Möbel könnte ich auch abgeben, muss aber auch nicht sein, irgendwie werde ich die schon los.

I'm leaving Graz, so fortunately for you a room in the most beautiful, warmest flats I've ever been part of becomes vacant. It's part of an apartments in an old building and comes therefore with really high ceiling and two huge windows. It's situated next to a tiny square so not only allows that for more light to come in but you're also spared of nosy neighbors looking into your room from across the street. One window has a custom-build extra wide windowsill from where you can enjoy hours of direct sunlight in summer, strollers passing by Rechbauerstraße and a nice view into Stadtpark. The room also has a tiny sink which allows you for a more private hygiene routine and the pleasure of not having to leave your room to get water. The room itself is the corner room of the flat which makes it a bit quieter not that it would make such big of a difference since the walls are so thick that you rarely here a noise in any of the rooms in this flat. The rent is 530€ - all included. It's possible to take some of the furniture but not explicitly necessary.
Die Wohnung liegt nur wenige Meter von der alten Technik entfernt, direkt über einem kleinen Kino. Bars, Supermärkte und der Kaiser-Josef-Platz sind gleich um die Ecke und auch der Stadtpark ist nur 200 Meter entfernt. Das Stadtzentrum und der Jakominiplatz sind 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt und auch die Universitäten sind in wenigen Minuten erreichbar.
Die Lage könnte also nicht besser sein.

The apartment is located right next to the technical university, right over a small and nice independent cinema and in front a urban community garden. There are bars, supermarkets and the Kaiser-Josef-Market right around the corner, as well as the Stadtpark is just 200m from the buildings door. The city center and central city transportation hub are super close as well.
Deine zukünftigen Mitbewohner:innen – Sophia, Hannah, Fabio und Malina– könnten nicht toller sein. Alle sind super lieb und du wirst dich in kürzester Zeit wohlfühlen und als part of the family fühlen, so war es bei mir. Wir kochen oft zusammen, trinken Wein, chillen in der Küche, spielen Spiele und tun alles mögliche zusammen. Die Küche ist das Herz der Wohnung und es hängt eigentlich immer jemand dort herum. Außerdem gibt es immer jede Menge Leckereien und falls sich irgendwer von den Verbliebenen dazu berufen fühlt, in meine Fußstapfen zu treten, auch ab und an frischgebackenes Brot. Da wir alle Lebensmittel teilen kocht immer wer Lust und Laune hat, aber immer vegetarisch und vegan. Außerdem essen wir fast immer zusammen (wer keine anderen Pläne hat). Außerdem haben wir sehr gerne Freunde da und freuen uns schon sehr vielleicht auch bald deine Freunde in unserer Küche begrüßen zu dürfen.
Kurz, die Wohnung ist ein sehr gemütlicher, geselliger und warmer Ort, es wäre also super, wenn du auch Lust auf ein gemeinschaftliches WG-Leben hast. Wir brauchen alle ab und an unsere Ruhe, es gibt also keinen Zwang sich immer zu beteiligen, das passiert meistens von ganz allein.

Your future flatmates - Sophia, Hannah, Fabio and Malina - couldn't be better. They are all super lovely and you will feel at home and part of the family in no time - that's how it was with me. We often cook together, drink wine, chill in the kitchen, play games and do all sorts of things together. The kitchen is the heart of the flat and someone is always hanging out there. Plus, there are always lots of goodies and maybe even freshly baked bread that we all share. Since we share all the food, whoever feels like it cooks, but always vegetarian and vegan. We also almost always eat together (who doesn't have other plans). We also love having friends over and look forward to one day meet your friends in our kitchen.
In short, the flat is a very cosy, sociable and warm place, so it would be great if you also fancy a communal flat-sharing life. We all need our rest from time to time, so there's no pressure to be involved all the time, it usually happens on its own.
Es ist wirklich die allerbeste WG aller Zeiten - Kuscheln, gutes Essen, lange Unterhaltungen, ein sonniger Balkon mit Tomaten, Chilis, Salbei, Rosmarin & Blumen, ein erstaunlich gut funktionierender Putzplan... Wir warten nur auf dich!
Oh und wir haben sogar neue Toiletten eingebaut bekommen, das ist wirklich eine komplett neue Erfahrung, soviel schon vorne Weg. Und eine nagelneu Küche ist auch for ein paar Monaten installiert worden. Also schick uns gerne eine Nachricht.
