Hello :-)
We are looking for a WG mate for the former wine basement.
With it's brickwalls the room has a very interesting and artsy look to it. However it leaves a lot of space for transformation.
It uses its space quite efficently, there are three semi separated areas: the main room, a short bed space above and a storage room.
The biggest downside is the lack of windows. You won't have to worry about the airflow though, Tolga installed a small ventilation system that leads outside. Also you will get permission to put a desk into our living room wich is the sunniest and most beautiful area of the house.
Regarding our house... It is quite a dream, and yes, these photos are really from our house (some people thought they were ads ;-)). We have a big outdoor pool, 2 pavilions, 1 huge winter garden, sauna, a big living room, a little pond, garden, and so on… :-) The house itself has 300 square meters.
If you want, come by and have a look! Otherwise a virtual WG trip is possible. In terms of move-in-date we are very flexible.

La Laguna
We can be reached with line 6. It takes about 13 minutes to go uphill, and it takes 5 minutes to get there downhill by bike.
It is very quiet and peaceful here. There is a forest right next door for walking. Our neighbors are helpful, and there have never been any problems.
It's about 20 minutes by bike to Jakominiplatz. However, it is possible to share a car, at least until the end of February.
Though our house looks a bit freakish, we are all quite easy-going, calm, and look after each other. For us, it is important to be respectful, give each other space, and take care of each other's needs in a pro-communicative way. In plenums, we discuss what is important for everyone.
Tolga and Madeleine live together in one room. In summer, Tolga lives and works in the winter garden mainly. In winter, we don't heat the winter garden; hence, Tolga is more in the living room. Also, we have, on average, every second weekend Elvan (5), Tolga's son, as a visitor from Vienna.
We all like to do things together but without pressure. Everyone has their own job and personal interests. However, when time and space allow, we meditate, cook, chill, discuss, or play music together.
We also love to bring people together for chill-out - jams, painting sessions, sauna evenings, and pool parties.
To our personalities:
- Tolga (40), originally from Turkey, works as an independent artist and freelancer in production teams of cultural institutions and festivals in Graz. He moved to Graz 2 years ago. Before Austria, he lived in Norway for 10 years.
- Felix (21) does community service with disabled people, is politically committed, and is a very relaxed person.
- Robin (39) sells his own MIDI Controller, plays acoustic guitar. In the evening he is currently catching up with his Matura. He has traveled a lot, has lived mostly in Berlin for the past 14 years.
- Madeleine (29) comes from Kärnten - she's studying music and did painting class at Ortweinschool.
-Naomi (28) just moved in from Freiburg and is studying Neurobiology. She has been living in Africa for a while, which probably helped her open minded personality. Talking about personal, political or any other topic is very fun with her.
