Frei wird ein ca 21 Quadratmeter großes Zimmer. Es ist ein helles Zimmer, es ist ruhig und kommt Teilmöbliert und das E-Piano steht zu verkauf. Die Küche ist unser gemütlicher Gemeinschaftsraum zum kochen, Kaffee trinken und quatschen. Das Haus in dem wir wohnen ist definitiv kein sanierter Altbau, sondern eine in die Jahre gekommene alte Schönheit mit Seele ;) Das spektakulärste istallerdings unser Garten (wir nennen ihn auch Park). Mit über 1000 Quadratmetern ist der Garten riesig und bietet sowohl im Sommer als auch an schönen Tagen im restlichen Jahr ein Gefühl von Landleben und Natur, bei dem komplett vergessen wird, dass wir uns in der Mitte der Stadt befinden.
Eure neuen potenziellen Mitbewohner sind Paul, Emma und Clara. Paul studiert Psychologie im Master und arbeitet nebenbei. Emma studiert USW und Bio im Bachelor und Clara studiert Sprachwissenschaften im Master und arbeitet auch. Da es schwierig ist, diese tollen Menschen in nur ein paar Zeilen zu charakterisieren, kommt einfach vorbei und lernt sie bei einem Kaffee etc. kennen ;)
Im Sommer beträgt die Miete 320€, wir zahlen nur im Winter Heizkosten(100€) dann sind es 420€ (zzgl. Strom und Internet ca. 50€).
About the apartment:
The room is 21sqm and really bright and quiet. It is partly furnished (see pictures) and the electronic piano would be for sale. We have a cozy kitchen where we cook, chat, hang out and have coffee together. The most valuable parts of our home (especially in spring and summer) are the sunlit veranda and the 1000sqm garden that completely make you forget that you‘re living in a city. We love to be outside to relax, study, barbecue or just enjoy the feeling of nature and country life.
Your new flat mates would be Paul, Emma and Clara. Paul does his master in Psychology and is working 4 days a week. Emma is in her bachelor of USW and Clara is at the end of her master in Linguistics and also working 3 days a week. Since it is difficult to describe these 3 in just a few words it would be best to just come by and get to know them in person.
In late spring and summer, the rent is 320€ (+ 50€ for electricity and internet); we only have heating costs (100€) in winter.

Die Wohnung liegt am Fuß des Ruckelbergs, liegt somit schon in einer ruhigen Wohngegend aber ist super zentral zur KF und TU sowie Innenstadt und Supermärkten.
Zu den Nachbarn haben wir ein sehr gutes Verhältnis, besonders zu den Katzen die oft zu uns zu besuch kommen :)
Mit Fahrrad ist man super angebunden und braucht zur Uni 5 Minuten (zu Fuß 10-15) in die Innenstadt ca. 10.
In der Nähe fließt ein kleiner Bach in dem im Sommer sogar an einem kleinen Strand gebadet werden kann (Geheimtipp ;) und auch die sportunion ist fast nebenan falls du gerne Bahnen schwimmst etc.
Location:
Our apartment is located in a really calm and green residential neighbourhood. We get along well with the neighbours, especially the cats who come to visit regularly :) We are in 5 mins cycling distance of Uni Graz main campus, University of Arts and University of Technology. The nearest tram stop is in 5mins walking distance, the nearest bus stop even closer. Not far from our house there is a small river (Ragnitzbach) which is ideal for walks, runs or for cooling off on hot days.
The nearby sports club has an indoor swimming pool which you can use if you like to do laps.

Yon wird leider ausziehen und es ist möglich ab Mitte/Ende März einzuziehen. Morgens wird bei uns oftmals eine große Kanne Kaffe gekocht und dann sitzen wir gemeinsam in der Küche und quatschen, Abends wird gemeinsam gekocht wenn es sich ergibt. Im Wohnzimmer (Flur) schauen wir auch gern zusammen Filme oder Serien.
Regelmäßig haben wir auch Grill-Events im Garten mit Lagerfeuer ;)
Idealerweise hast du schon etwas WG-Erfahrung, ein striktes Ausschlusskriterium wäre das aber nicht.
At the weekend, we often make a big pot of coffee in the morning and enjoy it in the kitchen; in the evenings we like to cook together or watch movies and series in the living room (hallway). We like to do barbecues or bonfires in the garden.
Ideally, you already have some experience with living in shared apartments but it's not a must :)
