A Bright room with a lot of windows and a nice view. Its furnished and has everything you need - a double bed (140cm), small desk and cupboards (see pictures)..
There is a very large common area (70+ m², not including the bathrooms), where you can hang out, there is a large table and lots of space to just relax and chill. With you, there will be 9 of us. In total we have 2 kitchens and 2 bathrooms.
Very pretty (and green) surroundings, next to the isebek canal, located in Eimsbüttel on the border to Sternschanze (10 min walk to Schulterblatt).
U Christuskirche and Bus 4 "Kaiser-Friedrich-Ufer" (+Busses 20/25) are within 2 min reach. S Sternschanze ca. 10 min.
Penny, Aldi, Budnikowsky (Shops/discounters): 5 min.
Biomärkte Alnatura / Biomarkt in Hoheluft / Osterstraße / Schanzenstraße (ca. 10 min).
There is 8 in the WG already. Some are still going to University, some have recently finished. We are Joaquin (Bolivia), Can (Germany), Jana (Germany), Esteban (Ecuador), Serigu (Romania), Fernanda (Brazil), Adel (Kazakhstan), Moritz (Germany).
The WG is on the 1st level - but there are two other parties living in this house, on the one hand me (Simon, 29), who founded the WG a few years ago and now lives downstairs with my girlfriend Lisa and another friend. And then there is also my parents, who live downstairs, too. Both, my parents and I, have a close relationship to all the Mitbewohner in the house, we spent time together (although a little bit limited currently through COVID) and are more than just neighbours. We get together for a movie/game or similar activity once a week and usually have a WG dinner together (everybody in the house) once a week.
Its quite an open (/minded) situation, so we hope that you will join and extend us in this setting. Also you should know, that we are looking for somebody who is seriously interested in connecting and possibly making new friends here. In this WG I have made the experience that it is quite important that people who live here with us put a high priority on the WG and the WG life. So if you are just looking for a nice place/room to stay in Hamburg, but have no actual interest in connecting with the people living here and possibly making friends, this will not work. Furthermore living in this WG requires a good amount of respect, tolerance and sensitivity for the dynamics and how everything works here, nothing out of the ordinary, but i thought i should mention that =).
Within the WG we like to go out together from time to time, anything from a casual glass of wine in the evening, through some nights out dancing, all the way to WG trips. Needless to say that everybody sometimes needs some time for themselves and pulls back to privacy in their rooms from time to time.
We usually try to keep a good balance of having both german and international flatmates, girls and guys. Right now, since Letizia from Italy is leaving us (unfortunately she is aborting her Erasmus Semester), we are looking for somebody who is international. This place is great oppurtunity to learn German ;) The minimum stay is 6 months!
We need to fill this room starting from December 1st. So if you are interested and would like to meet us, write as a message as soon as possible, so we can arrange to meet/talk or skype =).
It surely helps if you can write just a little short something about yourself, if you add your contact details we can get in touch =).
