Hey Everyone,
As three of our flatmates are moving out together to a different area, we are looking for people to become the new members of the “Kastle” and live with us long-term :) All of the rooms are roughly 14 square meters big. One which gets a lot of light from the street, and the other two facing our green garden.
Our apartment, a refurbished Altbau, is very spacious and has a lot to offer. It has two-floors, including two bathrooms (with two showers), a nice living room, a big kitchen and a second smaller living space connecting to our garden (YES, a garden in St. Pauli). In our garden we have a pallet sitting area, which is very nice during warmer days, nevertheless with still a lot of free space open for creative ideas, do you got any? ;)
The room prices will approximately be:
Room 1: 590 €
Room 2 (has a balcony and direct access to the garden): 610 €
Our apartment is located as centrally as it gets. We are just a couple of steps away from the Reeperbahn, close enough to party but luckily also far enough to not hear the noises of the night ;)
Being in the heart of St. Pauli, everything you’ll need is really close (various supermarkets such as Aldi, Lidl, Edeka, and the legendary Penny; Reeperbahn S-bahn and St Pauli U-Bahn stations; the Elbe; a lot of nightlife options and you might get spoiled eating out with all the late-night food available).
You will live with Frank (24, Colombian), Marco (26, Italian), and Jonas (24, German), and two other people we are currently looking for. All of us are young professionals currently working in different companies (as far as corona allows us to).
Frank has been for almost 3 years in Hamburg, selling pharmaceuticals at his full time job and playing DJ techno sets as his full time hobby in his room and recently started in some clubs (his sets are damn nice). In his free time he is traveling, playing tennis, discovering new restaurants and experimenting music.
Marco is working as an engineer in the aerospace field and has recently started his own small business on the side. He is always down for a good talk but don’t ask him about tips to cook pasta (even though he is Italian). He also enjoys doing sports, partying and gaming in the streets ;)
Jonas is currently remotely finishing up his master’s degree and working in a logistics company. In his free time he likes going to the gym, hiking/trailrunning, and makes great cakes (which he might eat alone if you are not fast enough). Corona aside, you are also quite likely to find him in a bar during weekends or gluing the 578th picture on his wall for decoration.
As you maybe already got, we are good friends and do like to spend our free time together doing various activities, such as having drinks (at home or at a bar), parties, barbecues in our garden, playing different games, or just having dinner. We anyways each have our private social circle, which we share from time to time. Of course everyone also needs some time for themselves, so we are all not actively involved 24/7. Since we all want to feel at home, it is important to us to keep our place clean together :)
Great props! The building is full of students and young professionals, which adds to the nice vibe of our WG.
