Gemütliches WG-Zimmer im wunderschönen Reiherstiegviertel

Die Wohnung befindet sich in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße im Reiherstiegviertel in Wilhelmsburg. Alles was das Herz begehrt, ist auf der Insel zu finden und auch zu Fuß schnell erreicht. Falls es dich doch aufs Festland zieht, ist man durch den alten Elbtunnel schnell auf der anderen Seite oder kann zumindest unter der Woche auch gemütlich auf der Fähre über die Elbe schippern. Oder man steigt einfach kurz in den Bus (die wilde 13) und dann in die S3/S31 und ist in ca. 25min am Hauptbahnhof.

The flat is located in a quiet street in the lovely Reiherstiegviertel, Wilhelmsburg. Everything you need is close by and in walking distance. Through the tunnel below the Elbe you can quickly reach the mainland. On weekdays you can also catch the ferry (or hop on the cramped S3/31) and can be at central station within about 25min.

Dein Mitbewohner auf Zeit ist Viktor. Er ist ein ausgesprochen rücksichtsvoller, geselliger und aufgeschlossener Zeitgenosse und ist ziemlich sportlich unterwegs. In den ersten Wochen eures Zusammenlebens macht er ein Praktikum und ist deshalb nicht so viel zuhause, allerdings ist er danach bestimmt offen für gemeinsame Unternehmungen.
Uns ist es wichtig, respektvoll miteinander umzugehen. Grundsätzlich verbringen wir gerne Zeit miteinander, es ist aber auch immer okay, wenn man mal die Tür hinter sich zumachen muss.
Viktor kocht und isst vegan. Es ist aber nicht schlimm, wenn du das nicht so machst. Rauchen ist im Wohnzimmer am offenen Fenster okay. Wir teilen uns außerdem einen Solawi-Anteil, für den nochmal 23€ im Monat fällig werden. Wenn du da keine Lust drauf hast, ist das aber auch voll in Ordnung.

Es ist uns wichtig, dass unser gemeinsames Zuhause frei von Rassismus, Antisemitismus, Sexismus und jeglichen anderen Formen von Diskriminierung bleibt.

Vieles bezüglich des Einzugs ist ziemlich flexibel. Ich würde mich sehr freuen, wenn ich meine Miete in der Zeit, in der ich unterwegs bin, nicht stemmen muss. Falls es bei dir finanziell nicht ganz hinhaut, melde dich einfach trotzdem, wenn Interesse besteht und wir finden da vielleicht eine Lösung. Hauptsache, das Zimmer steht nicht leer :)

Your flatmate during your stay will be Viktor. He is a super nice, thoughtful and friendly guy. He will be doing an internship during the first weeks and won't be home a lot but after that I am pretty sure he will be open for fun activities.
Taking care of each other and living together respectfully is really important to us. We like to spend time together but it is always totally fine if you want to close your door behind you.
Viktor cooks really delicious vegan food but we don't mind if you eat animal products. Smoking is fine at an open window in the living room. Viktor and I get veggies from the local Solawi (community-based agriculture) which would be an additional 23€/month but if you’re not interested, I’m sure we will find a solution.

It goes without saying that we want our home to remain a place without racism, antisemitism, sexism and other forms of discrimination.

The date for moving in is pretty flexible. It would just be a relief for me to not have to pay the rent for the time that I am living abroad. If the room is too expensive for you, please still let me know if you are interested, we can talk about it. I am just happy if the room isn't empty.
