Dein Zimmer grenzt direkt an unser Wohnzimmer. Die Wohnung hatten schönen alten Dielenboden und ein wenig Stuck an der Decke. Das Zimmer ist unmobliert, aber du kannst das Bettgestell von dem vorherigen Bewohner haben, wenn du möchtest. Wir haben ein großes Wohnzimmer mit Couch, auf der auch der Besuch Platz findet. Die Küche ist klein aber voll ausgestattet, ebenso das Bad. Pluspunkt ist definitiv der sehr große Balkon, auf dem man mit einigen Leuten in der Sonne entspannen oder Grillen kann! Was wahrscheinlich ein wenig gewöhnungsbedürftig ist, ist dass wir keine richtige Wohnungstür haben. Unsere WG befindet sich in der Mitte eines Dreifamilienhauses. Von oben kommt ab und zu jemand durch unseren Flur nach unten. Wir haben den Bereich durch einen Vorhang abgetrennt und ich habe mich schnell daran gewöhnt. Die sind auch super nett. :)

Your room would be directly next to our living room. The apartment has beautiful old floorboards. The room is mostly unfurnished, but has a bed frame from the previous tenant that you can use. We have have a large living room with a couch, which is greating for entertaining guests. The kitchen and bathroom are both small but fully equipped. A highlight is definitely the large balcony, where you can relax with friends in the sun (when it actually appears) or have a barbecue! What probably takes a bit to get used to, is that we don't really have a real apartment door. The WG is located in the middle of a three-family-house. Now and then someone from the apartment above will pass through the hallway to go to and from their apartment. It's not super noticeable when the living room door is closed, and I got used to it pretty quickly.
Die Wohnung liegt in Harburg-Wilstorf, man ist aber durch Bus und Bahn auch schnell in der Stadt. Die nächste Bushaltestelle ist 150m entfernt, Busse fahren im Regelfall alle 10 Minuten und auch die Nacht durch.
Zum Bahnhof Harburg braucht der Bus knappe 8 Minuten, zum Hauptbahnhof braucht man 25-30 Minuten.
Optimal ist die Lage für TU-Studenten, ich brauche 10 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad.
Gegenüber von uns ist ein leckeres griechisches Restaurant und direkt um die Ecke ein Kiosk, der immer und lange geöffnet hat. 5 min um die andere Ecke sind Lidl und Aldi und weitere Geschäfte, einkaufen ist also kein Problem.
Unsere Straße ist ziemlich grün und relativ ruhig. Wenn wir auf dem Balkon sind, sehen wir ins Grüne und kriegen kaum etwas von der Straße mit.

The apartment is located in Hamburg-Wilstorf, however it is well connected to the city center via bus and train. The nearest bus stop is about 150m away and the buses run every 10 minutes, as well as throughout the night. To the Harburg Train station it takes about 8 minutes, Hauptbanhof 25-30 minutes. The location is optimal for TU Hamburg students, where it takes around 20 minutes with bus or 10-15 minutes by bike.
Accross the street is a greek restaurant, and around the corner is a convenience store, which is always open late (by german standards :D). 5 minutes by foot are Lidl and Aldi supermarkets.
The street is green and relatively quiet. From the balcony you just see a green residential area, and hardly hear any noise from the street.
Du würdest mit mir (John) zusammen wohnen, ich bin 25 und studiere im Master an der TUHH. Ich komme urprünglich aus Amerika, also mein Deutsch ist noch nicht perfekt, aber ich übe es gerne :) Ich koche gerne, versuche oft Sport zu machen, und zocke ab und zu, wenn ich die Zeit habe.Ich wünsche mir keine Zweck-WG, sondern dass man auch mal gemeinsam auf dem Balkon oder auf Couch abhängen kann, gemeinsam kocht oder feiert.

I'm John, from the US. I'm 25 and currently studying my masters at TUHH. In my freetime I like cooking, going to the gym, gaming when I have the time, and hanging out with friends. It would be nice to have a roommate who's down to now and then hang out, cook a meal together, or drink a beer or two.
