Das Zimmer ist im Dachgeschoss eines ehemaligen Sparkassen-Fortbildungszentrums eingerichtet. Es wurde im Oktober 2017 von Meravis zu einem Studentenwohnheim umgestaltet. Beim Zimmer handelt es sich um eine Maisonette-Wohnung, was den Vorteil einer getrennten Arbeits-/ Ess- und Schlafumgebung mit sich bringt. Möbel (Schränke, ein Bett und ein Sofa sowie Tische) und TV sind vorhanden, verlegt ist Teppichboden.
Geteilt werden sich das Bad und die Küche mit dem Mitbewohner. Im gemeinsamen Bereich befindet sich auch der Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach. Der alleinige Wohnbereich beträgt 21,56 Quadratmeter. Der Gemeinschaftsbereich ist ca. 10 Quadratmeter groß.
Obwohl es eine Dachwohnung ist haben wir hier sehr gut den Rekordsommer 2018 überlebt. Denn: Durch Fenster oben und unten kann man sehr gut Durchzug erzeugen. Keine Angst also vor zu großer Hitze. Durch die Anordnung der Zimmer und offensichtlich sehr dicke Wände hört man von den anderen Mitbewohnern fast Nichts.
The room is furnished in the attic of a former savings bank training centre. It was converted into a student residence by Meravis in October 2017. The room is a maisonette apartment, which has the advantage of a separate working/eating and sleeping environment. Furniture (wardrobes, a bed and a sofa as well as tables) and TV are available, carpet has been laid.
The bathroom and kitchen are shared with the flatmate. In the common area there is also a refrigerator with freezer. The living area alone is 21.56 square meters. The common area is about 10 square meters.
Although it is an attic apartment we have survived the record summer of 2018 very well. Because: Through windows above and below you can very well create draught. No fear of too much heat. Due to the arrangement of the rooms and obviously very thick walls, one hears almost nothing from the other flatmates.
Die Lage ist sehr Zentral aber ruhig. Es gibt ein umfangreiches gastronomisches Angebot und in direkter Verbindung mit den angesagtesten Studentenvierteln von Hannover: Linden & Nordstadt. Vielfältige öffentliche Verkehrsmittel befinden sich fußläufig in der Nähe des Apartments. Man erreicht die Leibniz Universität in 5 min mit dem Fahrrad und 10 min zu Fuß. Zum Steintor sind es ca. 10 Minuten, zur Limmerstraße ebenfalls. In der Limmerstraße sind auch die meisten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Rewe, Rossmann, denns, etc. ).
The location is very central but quiet. There is a wide range of gastronomic offers and in direct connection with the hippest student quarters of Hannover: Linden & Nordstadt. A variety of public transport is within walking distance of the apartment. The Leibniz University can be reached in 5 min by bike and 10 min on foot. The Steintor is about 10 minutes away, the Limmerstraße as well. Most of the shopping facilities (Rewe, Rossmann, denns, etc.) are in Limmerstraße.
Das Zusammenleben klappt gut, wir brauchen keinen Putzplan und dergleichen. Wir quatschen, feiern und zocken gemeinsam, man kann aber stets die Tür zu machen, wenn man gerade nicht in der Stimmung für derartige Dinge ist und das ist dann auch sehr okay. Die WG ist generell offen für jede und jeden, der / die eine gute Portion Humor mitbringt.
Living together works well, we don't need a cleaning plan and the like. We chat, celebrate and game together, but you can always close the door if you are not in the mood for such things and that is then also very okay. The WG is generally open for everyone who brings a good sense of humour.
Die Miete ist eine "All-In" Miete, das bedeutet Heizung, schnelles Internet, warmes Wasser, Fahrradstellplatz und ein Hausmeisterservice sind alles schon in der Miete enthalten. Es gibt noch die Möglichkeit, einen Tiefgaragenstellplatz anzumieten. Ebenfalls sind für das gesamte Haus im Keller Waschmaschinen vorhanden.
Nach meinem offiziellen Auszug im Oktober würdest Du dann mit Meravis (dem Hauptvermieter) einen Mietvertrag abschließen, der semesterweise verlängert wird.
Bitte beachten: Aufgrund der Anlage des Hauses können wir nur Anfragen von Student*innen berücksichtigen. Das hat etwas mit Eigenschaft als explizites Studentenwohnheim zu tun.
The rent is an "all-in" rent, which means heating, fast internet, hot water, bicycle parking and a caretaker service are all included in the rent. There is also the possibility to rent an underground parking space. There are also washing machines in the cellar for the whole house.
After my official move out in October, you would then sign a rental contract with Meravis (the main landlord), which will be renewed every semester.
Please note: Due to the layout of the house we can only consider requests from students. This has something to do with being an explicit student dormitory.
