Hello people,
Since our flat is going to lose of its mates and it would be absolutely amazing, awesome and other positive adjectives to find somebody new. Just heads up: It says that the room is only available for a limited time, but that's due to us not yet knowing if our flatmate might be able to return. We're definitely looking for somebody that we could see ourselves living with longterm! It means that the furniture would stay in the room for now though. If you'd like to give the room your own flair, we'd find a way. :)
The flat is on the 4th floor, it's got high ceilings, wooden floorboards and a bit of a improvised kitchen. The kitchen is big enough to cook, eat, sit and talk, it's our take on a living room. If you got a bit too much stuff for your own good, there is space in the attic (a bit) and in the cellar (ok, if it's not raining too much).
Your room offers not only one but two (!!) windows and the joint shortest way to the bathroom, just in case. You would also have the only lockable door in the flat (apart from the bathroom of course), if that's something you're into.
Just to get it out of the way, we would appreciate it, if you could write us a message in English so that each of us can understand it properly. Thanks!

Hallo Menschen,
unsere Wg verliert zu August 2023 eine Person und es wäre echt total toll und super und weitere positive Adjektive, wenn wir jemand Neues finden könnten. Ganz kurz: Es ist zwar Zwischenmiete angegeben, weil wir nicht wissen ob unsere Mitbewohnerin vielleicht doch zurückkommen kann. Wir suchen aber definitiv jemanden, mit dem wir auch auf lange Sicht zusammenwohnen wollen würden. Das heißt, dass die Möbel erstmal im Zimmer bleiben werden, falls du dem Raum aber deine eigene Note geben willst, finden wir da bestimmt einen Weg. :)
Unsere Wohnung liegt im vierten Stock, Altbau, Dielenboden, hohe Decken, zusammengepuzzelte Küche, teilweise zur Falkenstraße, teilweise nach hinten zum Hof. In unserer Küche können wir gemeinsam essen, ein Wohnzimmer gibts leider nicht. Falls du zu viel Kram mitbringst, kannst du den auf dem Dachboden (naja) oder im Keller (ok, wenns nicht regnet) parken.
Dein Zimmer erlaubt den Blick aus gleich zwei (!!) Fenstern und du hast außerdem den (geteilt) kürzesten Weg ins Bad. Außerdem ist dein Zimmer das Einzige mit einem Zimmerschlüssel (außer dem Badezimmer, keine Sorge), falls das aus irgendeinem Grund wichtig für dich wäre.

Linden-Mitte is a pretty nice location. Inbetween Lindener Marktplatz and Schwarzer Bär you should be able to find everything you need - if not, then it won't take long to get somewhere else to continue your search. There is a tram station a couple of steps from the frontdoor and the tram can take you into the city centre in a matter of minutes. A couple steps more take you to a bus station.
Rewe and Edeka are just around the corner, there is an Italian restaurant just downstairs, and an Indian place across the street. There are about 3 hairdressers/barbers and 5 pharmacy in a very small radius, Sparkasse and a post office are nearby, too. A Kiosk is never far in Linden, anyway. At the Lindener Marktplatz you can find excellent ice cream, a farmers market two times a week and a health food store. The Limmerstraße (the place to go for eating and rummaging through stores in Linden) is just a 5 minute walk away. If you want to take a stroll down by the river: It's also right there. If you want to move your feet a bit more quickly and go out dancing, then places like LUX, Feinkost Lampe or Glocksee are close aswell.

Linden-Mitte ist schon eine 1-A-Lage. Zwischen dem Lindener Markplatz und dem Schwarzen Bären hat man alles, was man so braucht - oder ist schnell dort, wo man weiter suchen kann. Quasi direkt vor der Haustür hält eine Straßenbahnlinie, mit der man innerhalb weniger Minuten in der Innenstadt ist. Ein paar Schritte weiter gibts auch noch eine Bushaltestelle.
Rewe und Edeka sind um die Ecke, ein italienisches Restaurant ist unten im Haus, das indische einmal über die Straße. Die nächsten 3 Frisöre und 5 Apotheken gegenüber, Sparkasse und Post ebenfalls nur ein kurzes Nimmerweit entfernt. Kiosk sowieso, da muss man in Linden ja eh nie weit laufen. Am Lindener Marktplatz gibts vorzügliches Eis, zweimal die Woche Markt und einen Bioladen. Die Limmerstraße (die Lindener Fress- und Stöber-Meile) ist in 5 Gehminuten erreicht. Um an der Ihme lang zu spazieren muss man auch nur ein paar Schritte tun. Das Capitol für Konzerte und das LUX oder Feinkost Lampe zum Tanzbein-Schwingen hat man auch in nichtmal 2 Minuten zu Fuß erreicht. Im Sommer ist man in 15 min zu den Ricklinger Kiesteichen geradelt oder in 10 in den Georgengarten.

We're four people living here and we definitely see each other more as friends than just flatmates - we also understand the concept of closed doors though. You'll always find someone to share a meal, and nobody is going to run away from a conversation. Everybody needs some me-time aswell though and we respect that.
You'll live with:
Dev (29, maybe 26); you should ask him about it when you're here) is studying meterology. If you're a fan of electronic music with a looot of bpm then he's your guy! He'll show off his moves in the kitchen or basically anywhere, though, so you will see them anyway.
He likes photography and filmmaking, playing guitar and Ukulele, going to the gym, reading, Camping and Travelling, going to hippie festivals with Goa psytrance music , Secondhand shops,flea market,Skateboarding ,rock climbing.In General he is a hippie from Heart .
Jonas (29) is studying information management at the HSH. If you have question concerning general knowledge then a friendly knock on his door is the insider tip. He's also always down for spontaneous and planned trips to the theater or concerts - dancing is a yes, too. Once in a while, he also likes to lace up his hiking boots for a roundtrip somewhere outside of Hanover. He is a music Wikipedia,ask him about any song and will will present you all the facts about that.He is funny guy who is always there to help.His special skill is to help people move in and move out.
Sarah (29) is a Architecture student,studying to build tiny houses of her own.Sarah is a flower child who is living a lifestyle which is not harming the planet .She likes to go to the Festivals and concerts.She loves plants and birds or nature in general.If you need any information about birds ,plants ,insects,She is the person to talk. She try her best to protect the nature .If you have plants and need any help with plants she is always there.She is always there to help you with all the DIYs you have in your mind .if you like to go to BauMarkt and need someone to go with ,Sarah is there. She likes to play piano and guitar. She is always doing something with her tools to make jewellery.She is a traveler as well who likes to go on Hitchhiking journeys or travel in general.

Wir wohnen hier zu viert und sind definitiv keine Zweck-WG - verstehen aber auch den Sinn von Zimmertüren. Zum gemeinsamen Essen findet sich fast immer jemand und es rennt auch niemand weg, wenn man sich unterhalten möchte. Es zieht sich aber durchaus jeder Mensch mal zurück und wird dafür nicht gescholten.
Es erwarten dich:
Dev (29, bzw. 26, frag ihn am besten selbst, wenn du vorbeikommst) studiert Meteorologie im Master. Falls du auf schnelle elektronische Musik stehst, dann bist du bei ihm definitiv gut aufgehoben. Du wirst seine Dancemoves allerdings auch ohne Clubbesuche kennenlernen, keine Sorge.
Jonas (29) studiert Informationsmanagement an der HSH. Wenn du eine Frage zum Thema Allgemeinwissen nicht beantworten kannst, ist ein freundliches Klopfen an Jonas Zimmertür der Geheimtipp. Außerdem ist er fast immer zu haben für eine spontane Einladung zu einem Theaterbesuch oder Konzertabend - Tanzen ist auch gut. Im Sommer schnürt er ab und zu seine Wanderschuhe für kleine oder größere Touren. Er ist außerdem ein wandelndes Musik-Wiki.
Sarah (29) ist eine Architekturstudentin, die studiert, um eigene tiny houses zu bauen. Sarah ist ein Blumenkind, das einen Lebensstil führt, der dem Planeten nicht schadet. Sie geht gerne zu Festivals und Konzerten. Sie liebt Pflanzen und Vögel oder einfach die Natur im Allgemeinen. Wenn du zufällig Informationen über Vögel, Pflanzen, Insekten oder alles was kreucht und fleucht benötigst, ist sie die Person, an die du dich wenden solltest. Sie versucht ihr Bestes, um die Natur zu schützen. Wenn du Pflanzen hast und/oder Hilfe mit Pflanzen brauchst - auf sie ist Verlass. Sie ist immer da, um dir bei all den DIYs zu helfen, die du im Kopf hast. Wenn du gerne zum Baumarkt gehst und jemanden brauchst, mit dem du gehen kannst, ist Sarah auch zur Stelle. Sie spielt gerne Klavier und Gitarre. Sie macht immer etwas mit ihren Werkzeugen, z.B. um Schmuck herzustellen. Außerdem reist sie gerne, wobei sie sich gerne trampend fortbewegt.
Sicherheitsfrage: Schreib uns doch deine Lieblingssockenfarbe, wenn du dich ernsthaft für unsere WG interessierst. Es soll ja Menschen geben, die sich Risiken und Nebenwirkungen nicht genau durchlesen...

We also are concerned about sustainability (at least we try), and environmental issues in general. We try to live more sustainable lifestyle which includes our day to day decisions .So its also important to us that you have a similar mindset about that. and There's always more to be done, so if you have some input that's very welcome, too.
