Hey :) Da ich (Julie) im Sommer weg bin, wird ein großes Zimmer im schönen Handschuhsheim über August frei. Es wird möbliert vermietet, verfügt also über ein Bett, Schrank, Kommode, Schreibtisch mit Schreibtischstuhl und Sessel, hat also alles, was man braucht :) Das Zimmer hat hohe Decken und man bekommt mit den 3 großen nach Osten gerichteten Fenstern viel Tageslicht. Da es im Erdgeschoss liegt bleibt es dennoch kühl im Sommer, was sehr angenehm ist.
Nun zur Wohnung:
Die Wohnung hat 2 WG Zimmer, ein Bad mit Dusche/Badewanne und getrennte Toilette, und eine sehr große Küche mit Esstisch und Couch (und Spülmaschine!), in der man gemütlich kochen kann, und die wir gleichzeitig als Wohnzimmer nutzen. Es gibt auch eine Waschmaschine im Keller.
Es gibt einen schönen Innenhof, in den man entspannt sitzen kann, mit genug Platz für Fahrräder abstellen. Den Hof teilt man sich mit unseren netten Nachbarn, die alle Studenten oder junge Familien sind.
Hey :) Since I’ll be gone over the summer, my WG room in Handschuhsheim will be free during the entire month of August. It’s fully furnished with a bed, cupboard, dresser, desk and desk chair, as well as an armchair, so you have everything you need :) The room has high ceilings and gets a lot of natural light through its 3 windows. Since it’s on the ground floor, it’s still quite cool in the summer.
About the apartment:
The apartment has 2 WG rooms, a bathroom with a shower/bath and separate toilet, and a large kitchen with a dining table and a couch (as well as a dishwasher!), in which you can comfortably cook and that we use as a living room at the same time. There’s also a washing machine in the garage.
There’s a nice backyard where we like to hang out and sit outside, it also has enough space to keep your bike. We share the yard with our friendly neighbours, who are all students or young families.
Die Wohnung liegt an der Dossenheimer Landstraße, 3 Gehminuten von der Biethsstraße Bahnhaltestelle. Mit dem Fahrrad ist man in 10 Minuten am Bismarckplatz, 15 min am Uniplatz und in weniger als 7 min im Neuenheimer Feld. Alles ist also schnell erreichbar. Es gibt viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, in der Nähe, wie zB ein Rewe, Aldi, dm, Lidl, penny, etc nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß von der Wohnung. Die Handschuhsheimer Felder sind ebenfalls gehläufig erreichbar.
The apartment is on the Dossenheimer Landstrasse, 3 minutes by foot to the Biethsstrasse tram stop. You can get to the Bismarckplatz in 10 minutes by bike, to the Uniplatz in 15 and to the Neuenheimer Feld in less than 7. So everything is easily reachable. There’s lots of supermarkets in the area, including Rewe, Aldi, dm, Lidl, penny, etc 5 minutes away by foot. The fields in Handschuhsheim can also easily be reached by foot.
Du würdest mit Ruojin wohnen, die gerade an ihrer Doktorarbeit im DKFZ arbeitet. Sie hat dementsprechend viel zu tun, aber man trifft sich gerne in der Küche zum Quatschen oder gemeinsamen Abendessen. Sie ist offen und super freundlich, reist gerne, und geht ab und zu Tennis spielen.
You would live with Ruojin, who’s doing her doctorate degree at the DKFZ, which means she’s quite busy, but we like sitting in the kitchen together to catch up or have dinner together. She’s very open, friendly and easy-going and likes travelling or playing tennis in her free time.
