Your future room faces west, has a carpet floor, is about 19m2 (estimated, not measured), has one window and access to the shared balcony.
It is rented fully furnished, the price includes everything. The move-in date is the earliest possible, if you want to move in on 1.10., that's okay too :) If you need the room a bit longer than December, we can arrange that somehow.

You barely have to get out of your bed to get to the Hans-Thoma-Platz stop, from where there are trains every 10 minutes (24, 23, 21, 5). It takes about 10 minutes to get to Heidelberg Hbf and the same to Bismarckplatz.
You can reach the campus im Neuenheimer Feld in 7 minutes by bike, and the Old Town in 12 ( 20 on the way back, depending on the number of beers you've had ;) ).
Shopping facilities are 5 minutes away on foot (Penny and Rossmann) or 5 minutes by bike (Aldi, REWE, DM).
The field is also a great place for jogging, inline skating, or drinking a Radler at the canal. There are also various farms to buy regional vegetables and even a vegetable vending machine close by.

I (Zoe) will be leaving for an Erasmus at the end of September and am therefore renting out my room. You will be living with Marie (Master's in Political Science) and Caro (Master's in Conference Interpreting). Since Caro has just spent a semester away, the constellation is still quite fresh.
It's very important for us to feel comfortable at home, especially when we have a lot to do with our studies/master's thesis/work. Although we haven't lived together that long, we do things together (such as going to the pool, for an ice cream or to bars) or cook every now and then. Of course, everyone also needs to close the door and have noodles in bed sometimes, so if you're neither a quiet mouse nor a 24/7 party animal you'll definitely get along.
Our "granny kitchen" may not be very stylish, but it's kind of center of the WG and we've grown to like ist. In summer the large south-west-facing balcony is the highlight of the flat and our living-room-replacement.
Shared flat experience and adequate cleaning skills would be nice. We certainly don't have a cleaning obsession, but a medium-high level of cleanliness should be possible. Since everyone has been studying for a while now it would probably fit a bit better if you maybe don't come straight out of school.

The landlords are very nice and usually helpful if there are any problems. Three parties live in the house, a shared flat upstairs and a couple downstairs, who have also just moved in. Generally, many families with small children live in the neighbouring houses. They are all totally relaxed and there have never been any problems, but they would probably not be happy about weekly drinking parties on the balcony with 20 people, so a little consideration for the general neighbourhood peace would be great ;)
There is a large basement and an attic for common use, as well as a bicycle storage area.
As a resident, you can buy a parking permit for 35 euros a year; the search for a parking space is sometimes annoying, but mostly successful.
Please add your favorite ice cream flavour to your message, so that we know that you have read all relevant information. As Zoe is currently on vacation, Marie will organize the tours of the flat and getting to know each other. Online or offline is both possible.
