Hallo liebe WG-Suchende / Hi everybody,
From March 2023 (the date is flexible) I am leaving my room and moving to another city for work. The room is located on the 3rd floor (Dachgeschoss), where the other 4 neighbours live. Together with them, we are sharing 1 bathroom and 2 toilet rooms. On the 2nd floor, we have the kitchen with a cooker, oven and own washing machine. Overall, in the house live 18 people.
The room was renovated just before my move-in (August 2022) and is transmitted in the same condition. I would like to hand it over with the furniture for 180€. It includes: a bed with a mattress and pillows, a standing wardrobe, a mirror, a cupboard, a stand-up table, 2 chairs and a wall shelf. After the move-out, you will be obliged to demontage the table and the shelf and remove the furniture.
The rent of 390€ includes everything (heating, electricity, and other costs). What is paid separately, but shared between the tenants: Internet and GEZ. There is no minimum or maximum period of life here, but the rule of moving out is to find yourself a replacing tenant.

Ab März 2023 (das Datum ist flexibel) verlasse ich mein Zimmer und ziehe aus beruflichen Gründen in eine andere Stadt. Das Zimmer befindet sich im 3. Stock (Dachgeschoss), wo auch die anderen 4 Nachbarn wohnen. Zusammen mit ihnen teilen wir uns 1 Badezimmer und 2 Toilettenräume. Im 2. Stock haben wir die Küche mit Herd, Backofen und eigener Waschmaschine. Insgesamt leben in dem Haus 18 Personen.
Das Zimmer wurde kurz vor meinem Einzug (August 2022) renoviert und wird im gleichen Zustand übergeben. Ich möchte es mit den Möbeln für 180€ abgeben. Dazu gehören: ein Bett mit Matratze und Kissen, ein Standschrank, ein Schrank, ein Stehtisch, 2 Stühle und ein Wandregal. Nach dem Auszug sind Sie verpflichtet, den Tisch und das Regal abzubauen und die Möbel zu entfernen.
In der Miete von 390€ ist alles enthalten (Heizung, Strom und andere Kosten). Was wird separat bezahlt, aber zwischen den Mietern geteilt: Internet und GEZ. Es gibt hier keine Mindest- oder Höchstdauer, aber die Regel beim Auszug ist, dass man sich einen Nachmieter sucht.
Our house is located in the beautiful Handschuhsheim near the cemetery. The location is extremely relaxed. You just need to walk for 5 minutes and you are already in nature. The forest is perfect for walks, wine hikes and other adventures. Nevertheless, you are very well connected by public transport. The Biethsstraße stop is only a 6-minute walk away, and the 5, 24 and 26 stop there. So you can get anywhere you want. It is 10 minutes by bike to Neuenheimer Feld and 15 minutes to Bismarckplatz.
There are also plenty of shopping facilities. For quick shopping, there is a Penny supermarket close by. But Lidl, Aldi and Rewe are also only a 10-minute walk away (faster with all other means of transport, of course :D).

Unser Haus befindet sich in dem wunderschönen Handschuhsheim in der Nähe vom Friedhof. Die Lage ist extrem entspannt. Man muss keine 5min laufen und ist schon in der Natur. Der Wald eignet sich perfekt für Spaziergänge, Glühweinwanderungen und andere Abenteuer. Trotzdem ist man mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln sehr gut angebunden. Die Haltestelle Biethsstraße ist nur 6 Gehminuten entfernt. Die 5, 24 und 26 halten dort. Man kommt also überall hin wo man will. Mit dem Fahrrad sind es 10min bis ins Neuenheimer Feld und 15min bis zum Bismarckplatz.
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es auch genug. Für den schnellen Einkauf gibt es den Penny ganz nah. Aber auch Aldi, Lidl und Rewe befinden sich nur 10 Gehminuten entfernt (mit allen anderen Fortbewegungsmitteln natürlich schneller :D).
So now to the most important part. The WG life. First of all, even if it looks like it at first glance, we are not a student fraternity! We are a big flat-sharing community that enjoys spending time together. So no matter what your interests are, you'll always find someone who wants to join. We regularly go bouldering together, do sports in the courtyard and also like to party together on weekends. It doesn't matter if it's in our house or out. Beer pong is practised very seriously here. You will have a lot of really talented opponents. But yes, we also do relaxed things like movie nights and cooking together. Lately, we've been making raclette together quite often. If there's something on your mind, you'll always find a sympathetic ear and great advice.
So what I'm trying to show here is that you don't just live together, you're also friends! It really is a great community. You are taken along everywhere. If you're new to Heidelberg, it's probably the perfect opportunity to meet lots of new people and make friends.
Of course, if you want to have some peace and quiet and withdraw, no one will take offence. Just close the door and that's it!

Soo nun zu dem wichtigsten Teil. Das WG Leben. Also erstmal vorweg, auch wenn das auf den ersten Blick so aussieht, wir sind keine Studentenverbindung!! Wir sind eine große kunterbunt zusammengewürfelte Wohngemeinschaft, die sehr gerne Zeit miteinander verbringt. Also egal welche Interessen du hast, du wirst immer jemanden finden der sich anschließen möchte. Wir gehen regelmäßig zusammen bouldern, machen Sport im Hof und feiern am Wochenende auch gerne zusammen. Egal ob bei uns im Haus oder auswärts. Bierpong wird bei uns sehr ernsthaft praktiziert. Du wirst sehr viele wirklich talentierte Gegner*innen haben. Aber ja wir machen auch entspannte Dinge wie Filmeabende und kochen auch mal zusammen. In der letzten Zeit haben wir recht oft Raclette zusammen gemacht. Wenn dir was auf der Seele liegt findest du auch immer ein offenes Ohr und tolle Ratschläge.
Also was ich hier versuchen will darzustellen ist, dass man nicht nur zusammen lebt man ist auch befreundet!! Es ist wirklich eine tolle Gemeinschaft. Man wird überall mit hingenommen. Wenn man neu in Heidelberg ist, ist das wahrscheinlich die perfekte Möglichkeit viele neue Leute kennenzulernen und Anschluss zu finden.
Wenn du natürlich mal deine Ruhe haben willst und dich zurückziehen willst, nimmt dir das keiner krumm. Einfach Tür zu und gut :)
