Room available in Kirchheim

The apartment in the north of Kirchheim, with the tram stop being a 1-3 min walk away. The 26 tram brings your here from Bismarkplatz in 20 mins and the 33 bus takes you about the same amount of time but the bus stop is about 10 mins away. The M3 night bus stops right outside the apartment so don't worry about having a long walk when coming back from a late night. Additionally, Heidelberg Rohrbach-Kirchheim Bahnhof is about 10 min walk away as well if you need to travel to Mannheim, Bruchsal, Karlsruhe, etc.
Nearby is a new Rewe where you can get your shopping about 5 min walk away. There is also a Neukauf about 10 min walk away. If you prefer to shop at Lidl or Aldi, both are about a 10 min cycle away further into Kirchheim. There is not much in the way of bars in the area so if you drinking in bars is your thing, you may need to go into town for that.

The two other people living here are Dylan and myself, Glen.
I am 26 year old guy from Scotland currently finishing up my PhD in Astronomy and will likely be moving out some point this year. I am fairly quiet, aside from the odd bit of singing, and generally keep to myself. I play a lot of Magic the Gathering, Dungeons and Dragons and do a good bit of online gaming (mostly FFXIV and Honkai Star Rail). I do like to have a good chat and drink with friends and fellow room mates if the social batteries are full!
Dylan is 19 years old and currently doing an apprenticeship at the DKFZ to become a biological lab assistant. While he usually sticks to his room reading or on his computer playing various games from FPS to strategy games, he is always there to talk to and enjoy the sunset on the balcony, preferably with a drink in hand. Dylan is also our resident German speaker.
In terms of WG lifestyle, we socialise when we're in the mood to do so however there is no pressure to get involved. The WG is LGBTQ+ inclusive and we happily welcome any friends to visit Blue House!
We don't have a set cleaning plan and we try to follow a "clean as you go" approach however every few weeks we try to do a more involved clean of the apartment splitting the responsibilities into one person handling the bathroom, one handling the kitchen, and the other handling the living room and hallway. This is generally up for discussion and has changed with previous version of Blue House.
The main language spoken in the WG is English.

The room is available from the 1st Febuary. Just one thing to note, the landlord does want to renovate the flat at some point once everyone has moved out. As such the landlord will expect Blue House to be empty at some point in the next 2 years. An exact date is to be discussed with the landlord. Rent includes all utilities but will be adjusted some point in February or March when the gas bill for the year arrives.

We will be having castings in mid-January due to some of the WG being away on Christmas travels. If you are at all interested please respond to this ad by telling us about yourself and what class you would play in Dungeons and Dragons to be considered.
