Bright room in the green in a communal 9-WG Helles Zimmer im Grünen in einer gemeinschaftlichen 9-WG

Our house is located at the beginning of Heidelberg/Schlierbach. This sounds far away, but only 10 minutes by bike from the old town. A bus stop is nearby (2 minutes walk) and buses (line 35 and 36) take about every 10 minutes. The house is located next to railway trains and the Schlierbacher Landstraße. There are traffic noises. Our windows are well insulated against the noise, but you hear the train, especially in open windows.

Especially beautiful is the proximity to the forest, which can be reached quickly on foot. The direct path leads past the picturesque Wolfsbrunnen. There are also beautiful forest and panoramic paths to the castle.
From the garden and from some windows, man has views of the Neckar and the Stift Neuburg (Kloster).

In Schlierbach there are not too many shopping opportunities, but at least we have a pizzeria and a rewe.
If you like to swim in the Neckar, you will be in 5 minutes by bike at a place where you can go well in.

Unser Haus befindet sich am Anfang von Heidelberg/Schlierbach. Das hört sich weit weg an, liegt aber nur 10 min mit dem Fahrrad von der Altstadt entfernt. Eine Bushaltestelle befindet sich ganz in der Nähe (2 Gehminuten) und die Busse (Linie 35 und 36) fahren ca. alle 10 Minuten. Das Haus befindet sich neben Bahngleisen und der Schlierbacher Landstraße. Dadurch gibt es Verkehrsgeräusche. Unsere Fenster sind gegen den Lärm zwar gut gedämmt, allerdings hört man den Zug, insbesondere bei offenen Fenstern.

Besonders schön ist die Nähe zum Wald, der schnell zu Fuß zu erreichen ist. Dabei führt der direkte Weg am malerischen Wolfsbrunnen vorbei. Außerdem gibt es schöne Wald- und Panoramawege zum Schloss.
Vom Garten und von einigen Fenstern hat mensch Ausblick auf den Neckar und das Stift Neuburg (Kloster).

In Schlierbach gibt es nicht allzu viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, aber immerhin haben wir eine Pizzeria und einen Rewe.
Wenn du gerne im Neckar baden willst, bist du in 5 Minuten mit dem Rad an einer Stelle, an der man gut rein gehen kann.

We like to spend time together, cook or play something. We like to meet for film evenings (Beamer & Canvas). Whoever wants to withdraw can of course do that. Basically, we are a rather calm, yet communal, WG, even if we are many people. Usually, a day in the life of the WG with an evening conversation finds its sound, which I am unlikely to appreciate (may be allowed to add a personal word to the general description :p).

Especially in summer, our main meeting point is our garden. There is eaten, tea is drunk or campfire is made. The house also has two terraces - one overlooking the Neckar, the other overlooking the house. For bicycles there is a covered parking space right in front of the entrance.

Some roommates share vegan food. There's a common WG checkout. Large quantities of predominantly organically produced, vegan products are regularly ordered. This saves us shopping, partly packaging, and the advantage is that we do not have to cook every day. When we cook, we often make larger quantities and others can eat. We'd be happy if you want to share food together and cook.

Wir verbringen gerne Zeit zusammen, kochen oder spielen etwas. Wir treffen uns gerne zu Filmabenden (Beamer & Leinwand). Wer sich zurückziehen möchte, kann das natürlich auch immer tun. Grundsätzlich sind wir eine eher ruhige, und doch gemeinschaftliche,WG, auch wenn wir viele Leute sind. Gewöhnlicherweise findet ein Tag im Leben der WG mit einem abendlichen Gespräch seinen Ausklang, was ich unwahrscheinlich schätze (es sei mir gestattet, der allgemeinen Beschreibung ein persönliches Wort hinzuzufügen :p).

Vor allem im Sommer ist unser Haupttreffpunkt unser Garten. Dort wird gegessen, Tee getrunken oder Lagerfeuer gemacht. Außerdem besitzt das Haus zwei Terrassen - eine mit Blick auf den Neckar, die andere mit Blick aufs Haus. Für Fahrräder gibt es einen überdachten Stellplatz direkt vor dem Hauseingang.

Einige Mitbewohner*innen teilen sich vegane Lebensmittel. Es gibt eine gemeinsame WG Kasse. Es werden regelmäßig größere Mengen an vorwiegend biologisch produzierten, veganen Produkten bestellt. Dadurch sparen wir uns Einkaufswege, teils Verpackung und der Vorteil ist, dass nicht alle jeden Tag kochen müssen. Wenn wir kochen, machen wir oft größere Mengen und andere können mitessen. Wir würden uns freuen, wenn du auf gemeinsames essen teilen und kochen Lust hast.

Hello there,

In our 9er apartment on the ground floor a cozy, bright room becomes available. The room is partly furnished and there are some pieces of furniture in the house that can also be used.

On the ground floor also live Jess, Michi and Miriam, where there is a kitchen and bathroom. Ali, Verdiana and Leon live on the first floor. On this floor there is a bathroom, a large kitchen and a large common room, which is why there is a lot of shared life going on here. Jerry and Mervin live on the second floor and we also have there a bathroom.

As you can see we have plenty of space (we haven't mentioned the garden yet, have a look at the pictures:)) and many people live here. Of course you need time and commitment for living together like that. We value sharing and communication. That's why we regularly have a "Plenum" where all nine of us come together. This is important because there are not many occasions where all of us are free at the same time. It is important that you are open for joint living and the communication and time needed for that.

We have a large garden where we grow some vegetables and where we spent a lot of time on sunny days. Bicycles have their own parking space directly in front of the house entrance.
The house is really close to the forest, which can be reached quickly on foot. The forest is really nice and is perfect for hikes or small walks in the nature or to the castle.

In Schlierbach there are not too many shopping possibilities, but at least we have a pizzeria and a REWE.

We like to spend time together, especially by cooking, movie nights or playing board games. Basically, we are a rather chilled WG, even if it sounds like a lot of hustle and bustle. If you want to have some time for yourself, you can always do so.

Some of us share vegan food. We regularly order large amounts of organic , vegan products. The advantage is that we don't need to go shopping a lot of times, we save some packaging and also not everyone has to cook every day because we are often preparing bigger portions so that others can have some too. We would be happy if you are up for sharing food and cooking together.
