Da ich für meinen Master ins Ausland ziehe, wird mein Zimmer in der WG frei. Es ist ca. 11 m2 groß, wirkt jedoch dank des großen Fensters und der hohen Decke noch etwas größer und ist insgesamt sehr gemütlich. Da ich meine Möbel nicht mitnehmen werde, müssten diese übernommen werden. Die Abschlagszahlung fällt auch leider etwas höher aus, die Möbel sind aber auch alle recht neu und in einwandfreiem Zustand, hinzu kommen Sofa, Fernseher und Kühlschrank, die alle vor nicht allzu langer Zeit angeschafft wurden und in WG-Besitz verbleiben.
Direkt neben dem Zimmer befindet sich das große Wohnzimmer mit Fernseher und Sofa, dort findet ein großer Teil des WG-Lebens statt und es ist natürlich auch ideal, wenn man mal ein paar Freunde zu besuch hat. Der Raum bietet auch genug Platz um mal die Wäsche zu trocknen und dort sind die meisten gemeinsam genutzten Utensilien sowie unsere Spielesammlung untergebracht, die gerne auch erweitert werden kann.
Die Küche ist ebenfalls sehr gut ausgestattet, es gibt alles was man zum Kochen braucht, sogar inkl. einem Thermomix. Der große Tisch in der Küche eignet sich auch super um gemeinsam zu kochen, bzw. zu essen.

As I am moving abroad for my Master's degree, my room in the shared flat is becoming available. It is about 11 m2, but thanks to the large window and the high ceiling, it seems a bit bigger and is very cosy overall. As I will not be taking my furniture with me, it would have to be taken over. Unfortunately, the down payment is a little higher, but the furniture is all quite new and in perfect condition, plus the sofa, TV and fridge, which were all bought not too long ago and will remain in the flat-share ownership.
Right next to the room is the large living room with TV and sofa, where a large part of the flat-sharing life takes place and it is of course also ideal when you have some friends over. The room also offers enough space to dry the laundry and there are most of the shared utensils as well as our game collection stored.
The kitchen is also very well equipped, there is everything you need for cooking, even including a Thermomix. The large table in the kitchen is also great for cooking and eating together.
Die WG liegt sehr zentral in Heidelberg, an der Grenze von Weststadt und Bahnstadt. Sowohl das Neuenheimer Feld, als auch die Altstadt sind in 10-15 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen. Eine Straßenbahnhaltestelle ist etwa 3 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt und auch den Hauptbahnhof erreicht man fußläufig in ca. 15 Minuten. Wer gerne draußen in der Natur ist hat es auch nicht weit, die Wohnung ist ca. 2 Minuten vom Bahndamm entfernt und von dort aus sind es auch nur wenige Minuten zu den Eppelheimer Terrassen. Da die WG in einem Gewerbegebiet liegt ist es meistens ziemlich ruhig und auch die Parksituation ist dadurch sehr entspannt.

The shared flat is very centrally located in Heidelberg, on the border of Weststadt and Bahnstadt. Both the Neuenheimer Feld and the city centre can be reached in 10-15 minutes by bike. A tram stop is about 3 minutes away on foot and the main railway station is also about 15 minutes away on foot. For those who like to be out in nature, the flat is about 2 minutes away from the railway embankment and from there it is only a few minutes to the Eppelheimer Terrassen. Since the flat is located in a commercial area, it is usually quite quiet and the parking situation is also very relaxed.
In der WG wohnen im Moment noch Martha und Jasmin. Martha macht im Moment eine Ausbildung zur Schreinerin, zieht jedoch zum neuen Ausbildungsjahr ebenfalls aus Heidelberg weg. Jasmin hat ihr Informatikstudium bereits beendet und ist berufstätig. Sie arbeitet jedoch vom Homeoffice aus, sodass sie oft hier ist.
Da die WG durch die zwei Auszüge etwas neu besetzt wird, hast du die Möglichkeit das WG Leben neu mitzugestalten. Durch das Wohnzimmer und die offene Küche, kommt man aber so oder so viel in Kontakt und es hat sich bislang noch nie eine Zweck-WG entwickelt, wir haben immer gerne etwas miteinander unternommen, z.B. gemeinsam kochen, einen Spieleabend oder ein Feierabendbier und es wäre natürlich toll, wenn du auch daran interessiert bist.

Martha and Jasmin are still living in the shared flat at the moment. Martha is currently training to be a carpenter, but will also be moving away from Heidelberg for the new training year. Jasmin has already finished her studies in computer science and is working. However, she works from her home office, so she is often here.
Since the shared flat will be somewhat newly occupied due to the two people moving out, you will have the opportunity to help shape life in the flat-sharing community in a new way. Because of the living room and the open kitchen, you come into contact with each other a lot and it has never developed into a functional flat share. We have always enjoyed doing something together, e.g. cooking together, an evening of games or an after-work beer, and it would of course be great if you were interested in doing the same.
