We're looking to subrent a room in our shared flat for the duration of August, and potentially up till the 15th of September, depending on some outside factors.
In the apartment there are three bedrooms, a sideroom, a bathroom and a large kitchen/living room, which is the heart of the shared apartment. Your rent pays for your own bedroom, which measures 10.5 m², and half of the 8 m² sideroom. This is shared by the two smaller bedrooms as a laundry and guest room.
The apartment is located in a perfect spot in the Weststadt, a picturesque neighborhood with beautiful old buildings. On foot you are at the tram in 5 minutes, at Bismarckplatz in 10 and at the main station in 15. In the immediate vicinity there are Edeka, Penny, Rewe and Aldi, as well as a post office and a variety of cafes and restaurants. In addition, in the summer months there are occasional free concerts at Wilhelmsplatz, which is less than a 3 minute walk away.
The current inhabitants of the flat are Simon (27), who has been working as a landscape architect in Heidelberg for the past year, and Pius (25), a native of Heidelberg who works in the gastronomy scene.
We have different daily and weekly rhythms, so it's pretty calm in the apartment during work days. On top of that, Pius will be on vacation the first half of August, and Simon during the second half. That doesn't mean we can't have a cookout or grab a beer together though!
To make sure the flat stays acceptably tidy, we have a cleaning schedule on the app Flatastic. You're expected to do your part while you stay with us.
We're looking for someone who can take the room ASAP. Maybe you're doing an Internship, or you're stuck in an Air BnB and want to crash in a more comfortable place while your look for a permanent residence. Whatever the case, just get in touch, we're uncomplicated and flexible.
