Searching a room in Heidelberg

Hallo!

My name is Laia Parets Peris, I’m from Spain and I am 22 years old. I was looking for a room in Heidelberg as I will start the Master in Physics in October. I consider myself a cheerful, positive and flexible, but at the same time responsible and committed person. I am not the greatest chef, but I do enjoy cooking some dishes. I would love to move into a flat with nice people with whom have enjoyable chats and ideally become friends, but of course, I am totally aware that everyone needs their own space and privacy. You can expect from me a respectful, open, clean and reliable person.

I’ve had two abroad experiences: I’ve lived in the USA for 9 months and another 9 in London. Both have been great experiences and I’ve got to know extraordinary people, which some of them I’ve been able to keep in touch, and they have even visited me and stay at my home in Spain. I’ve had flatmates from different nationalities: Spanish, Chinese, French, an even a German one.

I speak English, Catalan and of course Spanish. I am starting with German, and I’m kind of hoping to improve this one during my stay. Of course, I would be extremely happy if any person from the flat is willing to help me to practice it, and in exchange, I would be glad to offer my Spanish whenever it may be useful.
