International student looking for a flat share

Hallo! I am Oliver, 23 years old, and will soon be starting a PhD in physics at Universität Heidelberg. I am looking for a room to rent not too far from campus. I am originally from England, but have lived in Brisbane, Australia for the past 11 years. I love reading, going out for walks/hiking, growing/taking care of plants, trying different beers and wines, as well as all sorts of music!

Mein Deutsch ist jetzt sehr schlecht, aber ich lerne :) (I have only just begun to learn German, but intend to continue to take intensive courses when I arrive in Heidelberg.) Saying that, if you would ever want anything proof-reading in English, then I would be more than happy to help!

I am very clean and tidy, easy going, and friendly. There will be no issues with keeping the house running smoothly, as I am always happy to help with cooking and cleaning. I often try my hand at baking too -- sometimes with success, sometimes... without. I would be very happy to socialise with my housemates (whether it be cooking, watching a film, or going to a pub), but also I can easily keep to myself and offer privacy too when people want.
