The room is 11 m2 and in an old building. It gets light through the large window, perfect for studying or working, and for the night, you can close the outside window and then sleep late without any problems. It has two doors: one goes into the hallway, the other into the living room (that’s the only one I use). I'd leave the bed for sure.
IMPORTANT: You will have the option to move to another bigger room (for a higher rent - 415 € aprox) at the beginning of June, as one of our flatmates is leaving. The furniture in that other room needs to be bought (for 370€).

Das Zimmer ist 11 m2 groß und befindet sich in einem Altbau. Durch das große Fenster kommt Licht herein, perfekt zum Lernen oder Arbeiten, und für die Nacht kann man das Außenfenster schließen und dann problemlos ausschlafen. Es hat zwei Türen: eine führt in den Flur, die andere ins Wohnzimmer (das ist die einzige, die ich benutze).
WICHTIG: Du hast Anfang Juni die Möglichkeit, in ein anderes, größeres Zimmer (zu einer höheren Miete - ungefähr 415 €) umzuziehen, da einer unserer Mitbewohner auszieht.
The WG is in the perfect location. You walk a minute, and then you are right in the pedestrian zone, where you can find everything: restaurants and bars, Edeka, pharmacies, doctors, etc. 4 minutes on foot from the town hall, where you can take several buses (including the main station). Next to it is the Theaterplatz, where the market always takes place on Saturdays. You walk about 10 minutes to THI or ZOB and about 20 minutes to Nordbahnhof.

Die WG hat die perfekte Lage. Man läuft eine Minute, und dann ist man direkt in der Fußgängerzone, wo man alles findet: Restaurants und Bars, Edeka, Apotheken, Ärzte usw. 4 Minuten zu Fuß vom Rathaus entfernt, wo man mehrere Busse (u.a.) nehmen kann am Hauptbahnhof). Daneben liegt der Theaterplatz, wo immer samstags der Markt stattfindet. Zum THI bzw. ZOB läuft man ca. 10 Minuten und zum Nordbahnhof ca. 20 Minuten.
I really enjoyed my time in this shared apartment. There is an Italian boy (30 years old) and a German girl (28 years old). In the flat, you can speak German, English, Spanish, and Italian. They are both very nice and respectful. There is a very good and flexible atmosphere in the house, and we hope you'll have the same vibe if you'd like to take the room. Everyone has quite a busy schedule, but there is a great balance between spontaneously hanging out together and also having some quiet alone time to recharge from the day. There is no smoking, and there are no animals. Everyone is very organized, and we always work on keeping the flat clean. We are looking for someone who can relate to the house vibe, get along well, and feel at home.

Ich habe meine Zeit in dieser Wohngemeinschaft sehr genossen. Es gibt einen italienischen Jungen (30 Jahre alt) und ein deutsches Mädchen (28 Jahre alt). In der Wohnung können Sie Deutsch, Englisch, Spanisch und Italienisch sprechen. Sie sind beide sehr nett und respektvoll. Im Haus herrscht eine sehr gute und flexible Atmosphäre und wir hoffen, dass Sie die gleiche Atmosphäre haben, wenn Sie das Zimmer beziehen möchten. Jeder hat einen ziemlich vollen Terminkalender, aber es gibt eine gute Balance zwischen spontanem gemeinsamen Abhängen und etwas ruhiger Zeit für sich allein, um sich vom Tag zu erholen. Es gibt kein Rauchen und es gibt keine Tiere. Alle sind sehr gut organisiert und wir arbeiten immer daran, die Wohnung sauber zu halten. Wir suchen jemanden, der sich mit der Atmosphäre des Hauses identifizieren kann, sich gut versteht und sich wie zu Hause fühlt.
The WG is very well furnished. It has a large living/dining room with a sofa bed and TV. In the kitchen, you will find everything you need. The bathroom and toilet are separated, which is very convenient. The WG has a place in the basement. The building has only 3 apartments (ours and 2 more). Upstairs, there is only a couple. You can safely leave your bike in the house (but not directly in the apartment).

Die WG ist sehr gut eingerichtet. Es verfügt über ein großes Wohn-/Esszimmer mit Schlafsofa und TV. In der Küche finden Sie alles, was Sie brauchen. Das Badezimmer und die Toilette sind getrennt, was sehr praktisch ist. Die WG hat einen Platz im Keller. Das Gebäude verfügt nur über 3 Wohnungen (unsere und 2 weitere). Oben gibt es nur ein Paar. Ihr Fahrrad können Sie getrost im Haus (aber nicht direkt in der Wohnung) abstellen.
