***English version below***
****English version****
Room and flat:
As our flatmate Sophie is leaving for a semester abroad from August/September for about half a year, we are looking for a lovely person for a sublease. Move-in and move-out dates are flexible and can be arranged concretely - it would be possible to move in and out a bit earliers, as well.
The room faces south and is therefore always bright and sunny. The window faces the backyard and it is always quiet. Apart from that, the room is fully furnished because it is a temporary rental. You can't smoke inside, but you can go down to the courtyard. What's unusual about the flat is that the kitchen is not a separate room, but is built into the hallway. Nevertheless, there is enough space for cooking. The big plus of the flat: We have a living room (with a cosy sofa)! We like to have breakfast there, read the newspaper, drink wine, etc. and, of course, chill out with our flatmates.
The flat is located in beautiful Jena West on Talstraße. The city centre and the university can be reached on foot in 10 minutes, there is also a bus nearby. At the same time, it is very quiet and you can be on a walking path along the Leutra in a minute and head straight for the countryside or for hikes.
Arianna, Björn and Julian currently live here.
*Flatmates:
Arianna (25) is studying sociology for her Master's degree and likes to explore Jena's surroundings by hiking or cycling (she is always happy to be accompanied by a flatmate). She is also always enthusiastic about card and board games.
Björn (32) is always up for a coffee. He once studied biology, but now works as a personal assistant for a wheelchair user. He spends one week a month in Dresden for this, and the other three free weeks he spends in Jena or visiting friends. He likes to work in his wood workshop in the basement, takes care of the community shrub garden at the forest and enjoys spending time with family and friends hiking/walking, playing table tennis, cooking,...
Julian (25) is studying human geography for his Master's degree, he has been living in the shared flat since March and is still quite new to Jena. Juilian often has lots of plans and ideas, but too rarely gets around to putting them into practice. If he does, he bakes ciabatta or pizza (sometimes for the flatmates), goes hiking or on a bike tour. Julian likes to discuss politics and society a lot, but also football and other banal things from time to time.
All in all, it is important for us to have a loving and familiar atmosphere in the flat-sharing community, based on open communication and consideration. We are looking for someone who enjoys community: cooking and game nights together, excursions, hiking, Sunday pancake breakfasts, for example, are very popular. Nevertheless, it goes without saying that each person in the shared flat has different needs, which will be taken into account.
In view of the pandemic, it would be important for us that you are vaccinated against Corona.
The extra 68€ corresponds to the money we pay outside of the rent for internet and GEZ (13€) and the share per person for the living room (55€).
Feel free to write us a little about yourself - we can then get to know each other either in person or online!
We look forward to hearing from you!
