Hyggelig in Jena

Unsere WG liegt zentral in der Nähe vom Spittelplatz am Rande des szenigen Damenviertels. Von dort aus sind es circa 8-15 Minuten zu Fuß und 3-8 Minuten mit der Bahn bis ins Zentrum und zum Campus. Die Straßenbahnhaltestelle liegt auch nur circa 100m weiter. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in direkter Umgebung liefert ein Lidl, Edeka, Rossmann, ein toller kleiner Bio-Laden (ca 350m). Es ist auch in der Nähe der Saale und eines Parks: Ein tolle Spaziergegend!

Our shared flat is centrally located near Spittelplatz on the edge of the Damenviertel. From there it is about 8-15 minutes by foot and 3-8 minutes by train to the center and the campus. The train stop is also only about 100m away from the flat Shopping facilities in the immediate vicinity include Lidl, Edeka, Rossmann and a great little organic store (about 350m). The flat is also close to the river and the park. It is a wonderful walking area.

Deine Mitbewohner wären Jakob (29) Jason (22) und Ecehan (25): Jakob promoviert in Germanistik und versteht es Menschen mit Witz, lyrischem Talent und einem umfangreichen Allgemeinwissen zu unterhalten. Jedoch wird er auch bald ausziehen, da er nach einem ruhigen und einsamen Ort sucht, um seine Dissertation zu schreiben.Jason, der Sonnenschein unserer WG, ist ebenfalls ein liebenswürdiger, ruhiger Mitbewohner mit viel Talent und wenig Fleiß. Er studiert PoWi/Humangeografie, hat immer ein offenes Ohr, Verständnis und ein Lächeln für dich übrig. Ecehan schließt gegenwärtig sein Chemie-Master ab. Er ist ist unterhaltsam, gewitzt, und hilfsbereit - und unser WG-Rockstar, wundere dich also nicht ihn, auf einer Gitarre klimpernd, aus dem Fenster blickend zu sehen. Falls du einmal ein Heimwerker braucht, kannst du ebenso auf ihn zählen. Jedoch wird er vor dem Start des Wintersemester Jena verlassen, und in eine neue Stadt ziehen.
Das WG Leben ist offen, harmonisch und freundschaftlich. Bei WG Aktivitäten verfolgten wir stets das Motto: Alles kann, nichts muss. Wir geben uns gegenseitig den Raum, den wir brauchen, genießen aber auch regelmäßig die Gesellschaft der anderen, durch spontane Gespräche, Spiele- Film und Musikabende.
Da die meisten Mitbewohnern nach und nach ausziehen werden, kannst du ab dem ersten Tag, nachdem du dich für die WG entschieden hast, dich an deiner Mitbewohnerwahl beteiligen.
Zudem Leben in dem Haus noch vier weitere Wgs, mit denen wir in Kontakt stehen. Versprochen du wirst eine tolle Studi-Zeit in unsere WG haben ;)

Your roommates would be Jakob (29), Jason (22), and Ecehan (25),
Jakob is currenztly pursuing a PhD in German Studies and knows how to entertain people with his wit, lyrical talent and extensive general knowledge. Yet, he will also move out soon since he is looking for a quiet and lonely place for writing his dissertation. Jason, the sunshine of our WG, is a kind and easy-going roomate with many gifts (just have a look at the painting in his room). He is compassionate and a good-listener.
Apart from his, he studies PoWi/Humangeography. Ecehan is currently finishing his chemistry master's degree. He's entertainin , and helpful - and the rock star of our flat. Don't be surprised to see him looking out the window while playing his guitar. If you ever need a repairman, you can count on him. Unfortunately, he will leave Jena before the start of the winter term tomove to a new city.
The WG life is open, harmonious and community-like. We like to spend time together (playing cards, having discussions, making "music," or just hanging out). Yet, no one is pressured to engage in our shared activities.
Considering that most flatmates are going to move out in the next months, you can choose your own flatmates after deciding to move in.
In addition to our community life, four other shared flates are living in our building with whom we are on good terms. Our house is perfect to socialize and find new friends. I promise you will have great student experience in our flat.
