We are looking for a flatmate for our three person flat in Jena for the time between February 1st and March 31st (within a 'privat' subletting scenario, only contract, no Wohnungsgeberbestätigung).
The room has a size of 10.34 squaremeters with a view on the Kernberge. Kitchen, bathroom, hallway, basement and balcony (technically 7.24 squaremeters per person) are commonly used. In addition we have a small garden with a sitting area. The room is fully furnished. You are welcome to use all my equipment and furniture but I would like to agree on a 100€ deposit (refundable after move out) to make sure that my personal items don't get damaged.
The total rent (warm) will be 236€, Internet and GEZ are around 20€ additional per person and the deposit as said 100€.
Apart from a storage room in the basement there is one room for bicycles and washing machines. We are sharing our washing machine with another shared flat. In total there are nine people living in this three party house - all of them students in shared flats.
Due to its location in a very small side street near Kahlaische Straße the neighbourhood is familiar and quiet. But still you need only a 20 min walk to the city center and University, a 15 min walk to Ernst-Abbe-Hochschule and a 10 min walk to Paradies Park. The nearest possibilities for public transport are tram 2 from Mühlenstraße or bus 10 from Carl-Zeiss-Werk (both max. 5 min footwalk).
I am subletting my room for two months because I am going to do an internship abroad. If you need an accommodation for a few days before or after this time span, we will find a solution. Main point is that you are getting along well with my wonderful roomies Sophie and Sasha ;)
We are used to have a very close and befriending relationship at our shared flat and would be happy to continue common activities of any kind. Especially the spontaneous meetings in the kitchen with intense, happy, sad or funny and for sure endless talks and a drink are what makes our living the most. Nevertheless there is never a must to spend days together, sometimes we all need some time off or alone. Also we are aware of this very short period of living together which of course brings different needs or challenges to a shared living. Therefore we are open for everything and in general for everyone with an open mind and the desire to be in a warmhearted and relaxed flatshare. (It shouldn't be worth mentioning it, but we have zero room for racism, sexism and homo*phobia).
