The apartment is bright with a balcony and I have a number of plants. It is fully furnished including the second bedroom (your room!). Currently this includes a double bed, large desk and shelves however you would be welcome to bring your own furniture and any furniture you do not want can be removed.
There is extra storage space in the basement as well as separate bike storage. I currently do not have a washing machine but should have soon. Important to note, there is no elevator in the building so you will improve your leg muscles :)
There are bus stops 2 and 5 minutes walk from the apartment and the tram stop (Damashkaweg) is ~7 minutes walk away. There are 3 supermarkets within easy walking distance, as well as a pharmacy, gym, bank and bakery. There are lots of hiking and mountains biking trails just behind the apartment.
I am a female doctoral student from New Zealand studying archaeological science here in Jena. I am looking for a short term housemate to join me in my sunny 2 bedroom apartment in Winzerla. I have been living here for 3 years.
I am easy going and happy to chat over a hot or cold drink, share a meal or equally give you your space. I work from the office everyday and like to socialise and play sport in the evenings. I also travel often so you will have plenty of time for yourself in the apartment. For this reason I am looking for someone who is responsible, with experience in renting.
