Looking for social, open-minded and fun WG :-)

Hi everyone!

I'm Sam. I moved to Jena a few months ago to start my PhD, and am now looking for a WG where I will hopefully spend the next 3-4 years (although anything 1 year+ is ok). I had a really beautiful WG experience in Köln over the last year, and I would like to experience something similar here: shared dinners, communal style living, watching movies together, etc..

I'm originally from London, where I lived ~25 years, and have spent some time in Germany and Portugal. I now see myself as a German citizen... although I need 6 more years for that (and to learn German ^_^). The lifestyle really suits me here.

A bit more about me... so, I'm doing my PhD in Immunology, Microbiome, Ageing and Evolution, and am 50/50 experimental (pouring stuff into test tubes) and bioinformatics (coding, data analysis,..) which means I am sometimes working from home (~1-2 days per week).

Outside of work i'm either tattooing (mainly stick and poke, but am now learning machine too)... so as a bonus I will bring free tattoos to the WG. I'm also exercising a lot (bouldering, football, squash, running) and like to do this socially. If not these two things, you will probably find me partying in Berlin, as I've just been introduced to to German music/dance scene, and completely adore it (maybe someone can help me find some good parties here... because so far.. no luck (help!))
