2 helle WG Zimmer in praktischer Lage :)

Wie erwähnt befindet sich unsere Wohnung in einer stillen Seitenstraße. Die nächste Bushaltestelle ist ca. 2-3 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt, sodass man kurz nachdem man aus der Haustür raus ist auch eigentlich schon im Bus zur Uni sitzt. Ebenso gut kommt man auch per Bus in Richtung Innenstadt (& zur FH) und kann dann dort umsteigen. Der Bahnhof und auch Innenstadt sind aber auch gut zu Fuß zu erreichen.
Supermärkte gibt es einmal einen Lidl, einen REWE und zwei ASIA-Läden zu denen man zu Fuß gut hinkommt, sowie 2x in der Woche den Lauter Wochenmarkt. Ferner gibt es in unmittelbarer Nähe auch einiges was Gastro angeht (einen Döner, Thai, Japanisch, eine Pizzeria, 2 Bäcker).

As already mentioned, our flat is located in a quiet side street. The next Bus stop is 2-3 minutes by foot, so you leave the house and are basically already sitting in the bus toward uni. Likewise, you can easily get to the inner city via bus (and the Fachhochschule) and can change lines here to get to most of the rest of Kaiserslautern.
For grocery stores we have both a Lidl and a REWE in relatively short walking distance, as well as two Asian grocery stores. The farmers’ market is also nearby twice a week. Furthermore, there’s a lot of gastronomical options nearby (one Döner, a Thai place, a Japanese place and a Pizza place).

Die Wohnung ist fortlaufend seit 2007 eine WG (deshalb ist es bei uns auch vergleichsweise günstig). Aktuell herrscht aber ein wenig Umbruch in der WG bei uns, da wir (Henri und Nessa) erst vor einem halben Jahr eingezogen sind. Dementsprechend sind wir noch dabei an einigen Stellen ein wenig Hand anzulegen um die Wohnung zu verschönern, wenn wir denn mal Zeit zwischen allem was Uni angeht finden. Es wäre also super wenn du genau wie wir ein wenig Lust darauf hättest gelegentlich zusammen die Wohnung ein wenig gemütlicher zu machen. Reine Zweck-WG möchten wir dementsprechend auch nicht sein, du solltest also ebenso Interesse an gelegentlichen Spieleabenden oder auch einfach zum Plaudern, wenn man sich mal in der Küche über den Weg läuft, mitbringen.
Aber hier ein wenig über uns beide:
Hi, Ich bin Nessa, 25, und ich bin trans. Aktuell bin ich dabei meinen Master in Physik & Maschinenbau fertigzumachen und überlege noch ein Doktor dranzuhängen. In meiner Freizeit gehe ich gerne ins Fitnessstudio, verbringe Zeit mit meiner Verlobten oder koche zuhause und entspanne. Am WG-Leben gefällt mir gelegentlich von Leuten aus anderen Studiengängen oder im Arbeitsleben zu hören

Ich bin Henrike (24) und studiere Raum- und Umweltplanung an der RPTU im Master. In meiner Freizeit gehe ich tanzen, joggen und auch gerne mal in den Wald. Am WG-Leben schätze ich gute Kommunikation/Absprachen und gemeinsame Koch/Spieleabende.

The flat has been a shared flat since 2007 (which is why our rent is relatively low), but there’s been a lot of change recently. We (Henri and Nessa) moved in only half a year ago, so we haven’t known each other for all too long. We’ve also been at work touching up things in the flat here and there to make it a bit more homely, so it’d be great if you’re also interested in doing small things here and there and also making decisions together. You should also be interested in the occasional game night every now and then, as well as an occasional chat when running into each other in the kitchen.
Either way, here’s a bit about us:
Hi, I’m Nessa, I’m 25 and I’m trans. Currently finishing up my Masters Degree in Physics & Mechanical Engineering, thinking about doing a PhD as well. In my free time I like going to the gym, spending time together with my fiancée or just relaxing and cooking at home. What I enjoy most about living in a shared flat is probably running running into people in the kitchen and learning what studying etc is like for them

I’m Henrike (24) and I study the masters for urban and regional development at the RPTU. In my free time I like to spend time in the woods around Kaiserslautern or go to dance practice. Living in a WG I think good/lots of communication is important aaaand maybe some cooking/game-nights :)

Du solltest idealerweise aus einem EU-Land kommen bzw. jemanden der hier ansässig ist für die entsprechende Bürgschaft haben ODER einen festen Vollzeitarbeitsvertrag haben, falls du nicht aus der EU kommst. Unser Vermieter ist in dieser Sache leider ein wenig wählerisch.

Ideally, you should be from an EU country or have someone living in the EU for the collateral surety (it’s basically insurance for the landlord that they will be paid, we can explain the details to you in person if you’re unfamiliar). Alternatively, it’s also alright if you have a full-time employment contract (if you are from outside the EU). Our landlord is rather particular when it comes to this unfortunately.
