The WG is located in the city center west at the intersection Reinhold-Frank-Straße/Sophienstraße, in a very central location. From here you can easily reach everything by bike or on foot. The university and the main railway station are within 10 minutes to reach the FH or PH in 5 minutes by bike. The city centre is about 5 minutes walk. The next S-Bahn stop is the Mühlburger Tor, the Otto-Sachs-Straße or the employment agency. There are plenty of shops. A REWE is within 2 minutes walk. Otherwise there is also Penny, LIDL, ALDI and REWE City in the area. There are also tasty restaurants, snacks and cafés nearby.

Die WG befindet sich in der Innenstadt-West an der Kreuzung Reinhold-Frank-Straße/Sophienstraße, also in einer sehr zentralen Lage. Von hier aus erreicht man alles ganz bequem mit dem Fahrrad oder zu Fuß. Die Uni und der Hauptbahnhof sind innerhalb von 10 Minuten, die FH oder PH in 5 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen. Die Innenstadt in zu Fuß ca. 5 Minuten entfernt. Die nächste S-Bahn-Haltestelle ist das Mühlburger Tor, die Otto-Sachs-Straße oder die Arbeitsagentur. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es jede Menge. Ein REWE liegt zu Fuß 2 Minuten entfernt. Ansonsten gibt es in der Umgebung auch Penny, LIDL, ALDI und REWE City. Zudem gibt es leckere Restaurants, Imbisse und Cafés in direkter Nähe.

Since Regina takes off as the WG elders at the end of May, we are now looking for a hirer*in. The two of us, Angelika and George, are only moved in at the end of February or early March. Therefore, no firm dynamic has established yet and you can actively shape our new WG life. If you have a bit of WG experience, this is definitely more relaxed, because you already know certain processes and appreciate the positive atmosphere of a WG.
It is important to us that everyone feels comfortable, respecting one another and communicating openly. As for community life, too. We are open to joint ventures, but also for quiet evenings. Everything can, nothing has to. However, we are not a party-WG and do not want to become any. If you just need your rest, it's not a problem at all. The apartment is large enough so that everyone can have a retreat that is respected.
In addition, we have a cleaning plan in the WG, which should also be adhered to by you, as cleanliness is very important to us.

Now something about us:

I (Angelika, 26) come from Stuttgart and went to Karlsruhe for the Master's degree. I also work as a working student and otherwise I like to do yoga, photograph or go to (techno) events in my spare time.

I (George, 29) live only recently in Karlsruhe. I lived in Freiburg a few years ago and moved for a new job. Now I work here four days a week as a dentist, but I would like to have more community life. I regularly go to the gym, but I am open to any sport if someone motivates me.

In the medium term, Hausverwaltung would like to wish a younger student WG again. Therefore, we are looking for a person at the beginning/centre 20 who wants to shape the WG with new ideas.

Da Regina als WG-Älteste Ende Mai auszieht, suchen wir jetzt eine*n Nachmieter*in. Wir beide, Angelika und George, sind selbst erst Ende Februar, bzw. Anfang März eingezogen. Daher hat sich noch keine feste Dynamik etabliert und du kannst unser neues WG-Leben ganz aktiv mitgestalten. Falls du schon ein bisschen WG-Erfahrung mitbringst, ist das Ganze bestimmt entspannter, denn du kennst gewisse Abläufe schon und weißt die positive Atmosphäre einer WG zu schätzen.
Uns ist wichtig, dass sich jede*r wohlfühlt, man aufeinander achtet und offen kommuniziert. Auch, was das Gemeinschaftsleben angeht. Wir sind offen für gemeinsame Unternehmungen, aber auch für ruhige Abende. Alles kann, nichts muss. Eine Party-WG sind wir allerdings nicht und möchten auch keine werden. Wenn man gerade mal seine Ruhe braucht, ist das natürlich auch überhaupt kein Problem. Die Wohnung ist groß genug, sodass jede*r einen Rückzugsort haben kann, der respektiert wird.
Zudem haben wir in der WG einen Putzplan, der bitte auch von dir eingehalten werden sollte, da uns Sauberkeit sehr wichtig ist.

Nun noch etwas über uns:

Ich (Angelika, 26) komme aus Stuttgart und bin fürs Master-Studium nach Karlsruhe gezogen. Ich arbeite nebenbei noch als Werkstudentin und mache ansonsten in meiner Freizeit gerne Yoga, fotografiere oder gehe auf (Techno-) Events.

Ich (George, 29) wohne erst seit kurzem in Karlsruhe. Ich habe davor einige Jahre in Freiburg gewohnt und bin für einen neuen Job hergezogen. Jetzt arbeite ich hier vier Tage die Woche als Zahnarzt, hätte gerne aber mehr Gemeinschaftsleben. Ich gehe regelmäßig ins Gym, bin aber offen für jeden Sport, wenn mich jemand motiviert.

Mittelfristig wünscht sich die Hausverwaltung gerne wieder eine jüngere Studierenden WG. Daher suchen wir eine Person Anfang/Mitte 20, die Lust hat, die WG mit neuen Ideen mitzugestalten.
