Hallo,
wegen eines abgebrochenen Auslandssemesters und sich daraus ergebenden Komplikationen wird mein Zimmer, in dem aktuell noch eine Untermieterin wohnt, ab dem 1.1. frei. Das Einzugsdatum ist flexibel, vermutlich wird das Zimmer schon kurz nach Weihnachten frei sein.
Das Zimmer ist relativ groß (20 m^2), quadratisch, praktisch, gut, und hat einen eigenen Balkon zur verkehrsberuhigten Straße. Die Möbel im Zimmer würde ich alle mitnehmen, aber wenn gewünscht, könnten Bett und Kleiderschrank aus meinem jetzigen Zimmer übernommen werden (siehe letztes Foto).

Due to a cancelled semester abroad and the resulting complications, my room, which is currently occupied by a subtenant, will be available from 1 January. The move-in date is flexible, the room will probably be available shortly after Christmas.
The room is relatively large (20 m^2), rectangular and practical, and has its own balcony facing the traffic-calmed street. I would take all the furniture in the room with me, but if desired, the bed and wardrobe from my current room could be taken over (see last photo).
Die WG liegt fast im Herzen der Oststadt, dem Studierendenviertel schlechthin, die Hausgemeinschaft besteht auch hauptsächlich aus Studi-WGs. Das heißt aber nicht, dass es jeden Abend laut ist, insgesamt ist das Haus ziemlich ruhig. Das Haus ist über eine WhatsApp-Gruppe vernetzt, man hilft sich gegenseitig mit Werkzeug aus, oder nimmt Pakete an, manchmal gibt es gemeinsame Grillabende im Innenhof o.ä.
Die Lage der WG ist nahezu perfekt:
Die Straßenbahn-Haltestelle ist fußläufig in 3 min erreichbar. Das gilt ebenso für einen kleinen Edeka und den REWE am Oststadtkreisel (ca. 5 min). In 5 min bist du mit dem Fahrrad bei ALDI/Alnatura/DM/Bauhaus/IKEA und am KIT oder Schlossgarten. Der nächste Park ist auch nur 3 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt.
English Version:
The shared flat is located almost in the heart of the "Oststadt", the student quarter par excellence. The house community consists mainly of student shared flats too. But that doesn't mean it's noisy every night. The house is networked via a WhatsApp group, people help each other out with tools, or accept packages, sometimes there is even a barbecue together.
The location of the flat is almost perfect:
The tram stop is within 3 minutes walking distance. The same goes for a small Edeka and the REWE (approx. 5 min). In 5 minutes you can cycle to ALDI/Alnatura/DM/Bauhaus and KIT.
Das Leben in der WG ist sehr rücksichtsvoll und herzlich, d.h. man hilft sich gegenseitig, kocht zusammen oder sitzt in der Küche und quatscht einfach. Dabei hat aber auch jeder seinen Freiraum, wenn er*sie mal Ruhe haben will oder viel zu tun hat.
Du hättest drei Mitbewohnis in der WG: Benedikt (22), Giorgia (26) und Lea (27).
Benedikt studiert Bauingenieurwesen am KIT und hat gerade seinen Bachelor abgeschlossen. Er ist ein eher ruhiger Zeitgenosse und beschäftigt sich in seiner Freizeit mit Fotografie und digitaler Bildbearbeitung. Man sieht ihn außerdem öfter mal in der Sneak Preview im Kino.
Giorgia arbeitet an ihrem Doktor in Materialwissenschaften am KIT. Sie kommt aus Italien und freut sich auf eine gute Zeit mit euch - auf Englisch (und ein bisschen Deutsch).
Lea hat gerade mit Ihrer Masterarbeit im Bereich Chemieingenieurwesen angefangen. In ihrer Freizeit ist sie beim AFK (Akademischer Filmkreis aka Unikino) aktiv und macht Musik oder geht bouldern.
English Version:
Life in the shared flat is very considerate and cordial, i.e. people help each other, cook together or just sit in the kitchen and chat. But everyone also has his or her own space if he or she wants some peace and quiet or has a lot to do.
You would have three flatmates in the shared flat: Benedikt (22), Giorgia (26) and Lea (27).
Benedikt is studying civil engineering at KIT and has just completed his bachelor's degree. He is a rather quiet person and spends his free time on photography and digital image processing. You can also see him sometimes in the Sneak Preview at the cinema.
Giorgia is working on her doctorate in materials science at KIT. She comes from Italy and is looking forward to having a good time with you - in English (and a bit of German).
Lea has just started her master's thesis in chemical engineering. In her free time, she is active in the AFK (Akademischer Filmkreis aka University Cinema) and plays music or goes bouldering.
In unserer Küche ist eigentlich alles vorhanden: ein großer Kühlschrank, Herd + Backofen sowie eine Spül- und eine Waschmaschine. Die Waschmaschine ist erst wenige Monate alt, der Kühlschrank und die Spülmaschine sind auch noch ziemlich neu, für alles zusammen würde eine Ablösesumme von 80 € anfallen. Für Fahrräder gibt es im Innenhof oder im Keller Stellplätze.

Everything you need is actually available in our kitchen: a large refrigerator, cooker + oven as well as a dishwasher and a washing machine. The washing machine is only a few months old, the fridge and the dishwasher are also fairly new, for everything together a transfer fee of 80 € would be due. There are parking spaces for bicycles in the courtyard or in the cellar.
