Hello !
We are looking for a new room-mate as my semester exchange is ending and I'll have to leave this great city !
The room is available from the 1st of august (we will discuss the departure date together)
The flat is 122m2 big with (commun) bathroom + toilets, (commun) toilets, 4 big rooms, 1 guest room, (commun) Kitchen - we use it as the living room, there is a sofa and everything to feel comfortable (: - 1 GREAT balcony facing south !
The room we are offering is 23m2 big and fully furnished with, 1 double bed (obviously), a desk, storage places.. Basically everything you can see on the pictures ! It has a really cozy atmosphere and is a bit away from the others so very peaceful.
It is an old apartment but adapted to modern uses, we have the charm of an old building and high ceiling, kind of modernized by the youth living inside it (:
The Kitchen is fully furnished as well with a fridge/freezer, oven, space for your food blabla..
The bathroom if full of plants and in good shape - feels like showering in the jungle yaey !
++ We have an home made smart home !
4 minutes away from the tram and 7 from the ZKM !
10 minutes away from the center (If you have a bike you can divide by 2 !)
You will live with Alex, Laura and Kim (+ someone else that you'll probably find together later) Alex is an funny engineer full of energy and doing crazy cool stuffs in the apartment ! (you have to see it to believe it !), Laura is coming back at the end of September, she is a product design student at the HfG, Kim studies the same but he is gonna leave for a semester abroad at the beginning of September so you won't see each other that much !
They are all German but don't have any problem speaking english, as they did for me the past 6 months (;
They've been living here for 4 years now and are good friends !
As for how it works day to day :
We are a community, doing a lot together like cooking on the evening, having a beer on the balcony, going to the lake... We have each other back and learned to know each other in the best way possible !
We are always up to do something nice together when we have time, often having a drink on the evening but not partying hard in the flat, we like to keep it a peaceful place where everyone have her/his space and is welcome to share it if she/he wants to. Usually it's very calm during the day and the flat comes to life on the evening when we meet in our wonderful kitchen !
We like to share friendship as well as space but we always respect each other privacy and envies (:
