The appartment is on the 1st floor. It has 4 rooms, 1 full bathroom, and 1 guest bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with 2 fridges and 1 freezer. The hall also works as a small living room with a sofa.
Your room will be the biggest in the apartment (luccky you ;) ). It is furnished with a queen size bed with a comfortable mattress, a spacious wardrobe, a bedside table, a big desk, an office chair, and a rest chair perfect to use in the kitchen balcony in summer.
The location of the WG is very central. Around 5 mins to Yorckstr. (nearest tram station), and 20 min walk to the city center. With the tram you can reach the city center in 10 min and 20 min to Hauptbahnhof (main station).
Regarding supermarkets, you can find Alnatura (3 min walk), Lidl and Penny (8 min walk), and Rewe (12 min).
In the WG you will be sharing with 3 other people. The mood is very relaxed, the apartment is always clean (there is a cleaning schedule), and also very quiet, perfect for those who want to rest after a day of work/classes.
For now the language of the flat is English, but we have basis in German too ;)
Fang is 24 y/o and is studying at KIT. He really enjoys having WG dinners and cooking for the flatmates. He says he just started learning how to cook, although his dishes are really good!
Juan Luis is the latest arrived, he is 24y/o, Spanish, and an engineer who started to work in an automotive company nearby in June. He is very really relaxed and outgoing with the Spanish mindset!
I am Sébastien, 25 y/o and I am also an engineer and I have been living in KA for almost 2 years. I'm French and work in the same company as Juan Luis on car interiors. Love to travel, nights out from time to time, good food, and going to the gym.
Our flatmate leaves to gain independence as she felt it was time for her to have her own place.
The perfect flatmate would love to be in a quiet place. You either like to have a fully WG experience or are slightly more reserved. We prefer someone who already works, but if you are still a student, you can talk as well with us.
