My name is Yoshino and you could be living in my room soon! I start my internship and will then, unfortunately, be moving out of the shared flat. I'd love to stay longer, but I'm also very happy for my successor and hope that you'll feel just as comfortable here as I do! I will be moving out in April and my room will be available from the beginning of May 2024.
The room is large and bright and has a cozy balcony with a view of the garden. You do not have to bring lots of furniture since the bed, table, chair, and closet are equipped. The apartment has an elevator which makes it easy to bring everything up to 2nd floor.
We have a large bathroom with a shower and toilet. In our kitchen there is enough space for the whole flat share and we like to cook together sometimes in the evening. We also have a spontaneous conversation, sit together and have a cup of tea:)
The best part of this apartment is that you can reach the river or nature in 3 minutes on a walk. In the summer, we often went there for a picnic and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, lots of nature:))
Since it is a student apartment (Studierenden-WG), it is mandatory to have an enrolment certificate as well as proof of income from the last three months or a Buergschaft by your parents, and proof of your insurance.
The shared flat is located in Wesertor, very close to Kassel University. It takes a maximum of 10 minutes to get to the university. This also means you can quickly reach the center of Kassel, only 10 minutes by tram.
Connection:
It takes about 4 minutes to walk to the railway station. There are also several regional trains and buses in all directions in Hauptbahnhof, which take 15-20min from the apartment. The best part is that you can also cycle along the river and go directly into the city center :)
Shopping:
You can reach Kaufland in 6 minutes on a walk. Small bakeries, grocery shops, and restaurants are also available in this area.
There are Sarah (26) and Marie(20) in this beautiful WG. They are both students.
Sarah is pursuing a master's in business and law. She is also an animal lover and Vegetarian. If you ask her about skin care tips, you will learn all about it!
Marie studied Phycology in her bachelor’s and is a plant lover. She likes doing art and tanking care of greens in our apartment.
Living together with open communication and mutual respect is important to us, as is a certain level of cleanliness.
They are both fluent in English so Internationals are also more than welcome to our WG;)
We like to sit together in the kitchen in the evening and chat about the day. But we also respect each other’s personal space so we can comfortably live together;))
Kitchen:
The kitchen is fully equipped, and all the basic tools are there, so you don't need to bring or prepare much. We have a large oven, a fridge with a freezer in it, a toaster, a coffee machine, and a kettle. We also have a big shelf and a large cupboard in the kitchen, where everyone has their own space.
Bathroom:
The bathroom has a shower and a big mirror. It is rather big and has enough space for us to come in at the same time when it is busy in the morning/evening.
This is the sublet offer, and the date of moving in can be flexible between the beginning and mid-May.
The full monthly price will be 391 euros plus 18 euros for Sonstige Kosten (the internet 16 euros, and GEZ 2 euros).
Caution will be paid back to you, but 100 euros might be taken for the cleaning fee in the end.
