The apartment is very bright with many windows and an especially large bathroom. In addition, despite the central location and direct connection to public transport and shopping facilities, it is particularly quiet. So you hardly notice that you have neighbors and the neighbors don't know about possible evening events. The setting for a cosy get-together is the fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, refrigerator and ceramic hob or the balcony with a view of one of Freiburg's famous brooks and the roofs of the surrounding houses. In some distance you can even see the top of the cathedral, and there is no floor above it to prevent a clear view of the stars.
The room itself is not very large, but thanks to the large window, it seems very open and comfortable. If, as in my case, there is not enough space for clothes, part of the hallway can be used for a wardrobe or similar. Or you can store some of your stuff in the really big bathroom, we are open for creative ideas!
Additionally there is a lockable storage room in the basement where you can leave your bike overnight or anything else you don't need or want to see every day.
The apartment can only be rented to students/doctoral students.
The apartment is very centrally located. Lidl and Aldi are directly across the street and it is only a 10 minute walk to the institute quarter of the University of Freiburg. There is also a streetcar stop right in front of the door, which takes you to the city center within 10min. If you missed the last streetcar, you can walk home from the city center in about 20 minutes.
The apartment is on the top (fifth) floor, an elevator is installed in case the way over the stairs is too exhausting.
The WG is a 2 person WG, so you will still have a roommate.
The weekly cleaning of the apartment will be split up, but it is also not bad if you can't go out because of too much stress or something like that.
The following is included in the service charges: electricity, GEZ, garbage and internet. The main rent already includes heating and water.
