Das Zimmer hat viele große Fenster, inklusive einem kleinen Erker und ist daher sehr hell. Die Lage des Zimmers ist zur Straße (Eckernförder Str.) hin, weshalb man den Straßenverkehr hört, sich aber auch schnell daran gewöhnt :D.
Die Gardinenschienen und Vorhänge können gerne übernommen werden gegen einen kleinen Abschlag (*Ablösevereinbarung).
Ansonsten hat das Zimmer, wie der Rest der Wohnung, schön hohe Decken sowie Pakettboden.

The room has many large windows, including a small bay window, making it very bright. The room is located facing the street (Eckernförder Str.), so you can hear the traffic, but you also get used to it quickly :D. The curtain rails and curtains can be taken over for a small fee (*assignment agreement). Otherwise, like the rest of the apartment, the room has beautifully high ceilings.
Die Lage der Wohnung ist recht zentral, guten Anbindungsmöglichkeiten mit dem Bus zur Altstadt/ HBF (direkt vor der Haustür) und zur Universität (1 min Fußweg zu Halterstelle). Mit dem Rad ist von hier aus auch alles gut und schnell erreichbar (die Sprottenflotte ist auch ganz in der Nähe), wie fast überall in Kiel. Außerdem befindet sich der Schrevenpark (zum spazieren, laufen und zum genießen) direkt gegenüber und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (REWE und Sultan Markt) sind in wenigen Minuten fußläufig zu erreichen.

The location of the apartment is quite central, with good bus connections to the Old Town/ Central Station (right outside the door) and to the university (1 minute walk to the busstation). Everything is also easily and quickly accessible by bike from here (the Sprottenflotte is also nearby), as is the case in most parts of Kiel. Additionally, Schrevenpark (for walking, jogging, and enjoying life) is directly opposite, and shopping facilities (REWE and Sultan Markt) are within a few minutes' walking distance.
Das WG- Leben ist sehr entspannt und gemütlich. Auch wenn es in der WG vorzugsweise ruhig ist, sind wir alle an einem gemeinsamen/ gemeinschaftlichen Zusammenleben interessiert. Die große Küche lädt dazu ein zusammen zu kochen, zu essen oder einfach ein bisschen zu schnacken. Von der Küche geht ein kleiner Balkon ab, auf dem man die Nachmittagssonne (wenn mal die Sonne scheint in Kiel) einfangen kann.
In der WG bleien Ann-Kristin, Valentin und Pit. Ann- Kristin hat deutsche und schwedische Literatur studiert und ist momentan auf der Suche nach einem neuen Job. Neben lesen und schreiben (ich persönlich bin sehr gespannt auf den Roman) geht Ann-Kristin gerne auf Konzerte. Valentin unterrichtet an der Hochschule Französisch und macht viele kreative Sachen (z.B. Croissants auf Beutel drucken, findet ihr im Ladenlokal Kosmos :D). Er sing, malt und macht Musik (Trompete, Klavier) und schreibt gerne. Außerdem ist Valentin immer offen für Ausflüge (v.a. zum Karaoke...). Und ich bin Pit und befinde mich noch in den letzten Zügen meines Sportstudiums. Ich selbst mache auch gerne Sport (meistens Klettern und ab und zu Surfen), bin aber auch gerne kreativ und spiele auch mal Gitarre.
Als WG unternehmen wir gerne Ausflüge ins Kino, Theater oder auch mal in die ein oder andere Oper. Gemeinsame Koch- oder Spieleabende sind auch immer willkommen!

The life together can be described as very relaxed and cozy. Even though it's preferably quiet, we are all interested in a communal living. The large kitchen invites us to cook, eat together, or just chat a bit. There's a small balcony off the kitchen where you can catch the afternoon sun (when it decides to shine in Kiel).
In the shared apartment, there's Ann-Kristin, Valentin, and Pit. Ann-Kristin studied German and Swedish literature and is currently looking for a new job. Besides reading and writing (I'm personally very excited about the novel), Ann-Kristin enjoys going to koncerts. Valentin teaches French at the university and does many creative things (such as printing croissants on bags, you can find them in the local shop Kosmos :D). He sings, paints, plays music (trumpet, piano), and enjoys writing. Additionally, Valentin is always open to go out (especially for karaoke...). And I'm Pit, wrapping up my sports studies. I enjoy sports myself (mostly climbing and occasionally surfing), but I also like being creative and sometimes play the guitar.
Together we enjoy going on trips to the cinema, theater, or occasionally to the opera. Joint cooking or game nights are also always welcome!
