Das Zimmer (12qm) ist mit einem Bett (1,40m), einem Schrank und einem Tisch mit Stuhl, also mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet.
Es ist durch eine Fensterfront hell und man kann sich hier das Geschehen auf den Straßen schonmal ein bisschen anschauen. Wenn die Welt mal draußen bleiben soll gibt es zum Verdunkeln Vorhänge. Ich denke man kann sich hier gut wohlfühlen. Die kleine Küche und das Badezimmer mit Wanne (falls man mal entspannen möchte) teilt ihr euch mit mir.
The room (12 sq m) has a bed (1,40m), a closet and a table with a chair. So it has everything you need for a short stay. It is a bright room and through the windows you can observe what is going on in the streets. If you want some peace and quiet, just close the window and the curtains. Just make yourself comfortable :)
You can use the small kitchen and the bathroom which has a bathtub (if you want to relax sometime).
Die Lage ist das überzeugende Argument, wenn man den Kölner Karneval erleben möchte. Mittendrin statt nur dabei! Man ist mitten im Geschehen und alle interessanten locations des Karnevals (Heumarkt, Südstadt, Zülpicher Platz, Kölner Ringe, Ehrenfeld...) sind schnell zu erreichen. In unmittelbarer Nähe fahren die Linie 12, 15, 16 und 18 (man sagt sogar bis nach Istanbul ;)). Auch der Südbahnhof ist nicht weit, falls man mal den Bonner Karneval besuchen möchte... nach Düsseldorf zu fahren ist natürlich verboten :D
The location of the apartment is a big plus if you want to experience the Cologne carnival. You're right in the middle of it. All interesting places and locations (Heumarkt, Südstadt, Zülpicher Platz, Kölner Ringe, Ehrenfeld...) are close and easy to reach. The metro number 12, 15, 16 and 18 are a two minutes walk from the apartment. If you want to go to Bonn carnival you can take the train from Köln Süd with is near the apartment as well. You cannot go to Düsseldorf because it is forbidden ;) (People from Cologne and Düsseldorf are a bit in a fight which one has the better carnival and is the better city... but not to take too seriously).
Ich freue mich euch über den kölner Karneval willkommen zu heißen und hoffe, dass dies unvergessliche Tage für euch werden. Allerdings können keine Veranstaltungen/ Partys in der Wohnung stattfinden, da Rücksicht auf die Nachbarn genommen werden muss. Ich erwarte einen respektvollen Umgang mit allen und allem. Das beruht natürlich auf Gegenseitigkeit.
Ich werde vermutlich selbst zwischendurch unterwegs sein. Wenn Interesse besteht, würde ich mich aber auch freuen, wenn wir einen Tag gemeinsam ein Karnevalsfrühstück machen würden :)
I'm looking forward to receiving you for the Cologne carnival! I hope you have an unforgettable time. However there cannot be an event or party in the apartment because we have to respect our neighbors. I expect you to be respectful with everyone and everything. This is based on reciprocity of course.
Some of the days I'll be on the streets as well, but if you are interested I'd enjoy to have a carnival breakfast with you one day :)
Ich hoffe und gehe auch davon aus, dass das Internet bis Februar installiert ist. Also gibt es auch gratis WLAN.

Das Bett ist 1,40m breit. Es können daher auch zwei im Bett schlafen und im Notfall könnte man auch eine dritte Person im Zimmer unterbringen. Pro weiteren Gast fallen allerdings 15 Euro pro Übernachtung an.
Bettwäsche und Handtücher stelle ich euch. Die 15 Euro unter dem Punkt "Abstandszahlung" sind eine Reinigungsgebühr.

I think I'll have the internet installed till February so you'll have free WIFI.
If you want I can send you pictures of the apartment.
The bed is 1,40 m so it would be big enough for two people and if there is need I think we can fit a third person in the room. So if you want to come in a small group that would be 15 euros more per additional person. I'll give you blankets and towles. The 15 euros you find in the costs "Abstandszahlung" is for cleaning.
