da ich mit meinem Freund zusammenziehe, werde ich mein 12,5qm großes, voll möbliertes Zimmer in unserer schönen, ebenfalls voll möblierten modernen 2er-WG verlassen (Genau, du brauchst keine Möbel mitbringen!). Du wirst mit meiner sehr lieben Freundin Fiola zusammenwohnen, die du weiter unten unter "WG-Leben" noch besser kennenlernen kannst.
Die Wohnung wurde 2019 komplett neu renoviert, die Möbel sind von Anfang 2020. Die Wohnung an sich besteht aus einer schön großen Wohnküche, einem Bad mit Fußbodenheizung, einer großen Abstellkammer, Fiolas Zimmer und unserem Balkon. Fiola nimmt sich gerade unseres Balkons an, der bald voller Kräuter und Blumen blühen sollte :) Die Möblierung & Ausstattung kannst du dir auf den Fotos anschauen.
Das Zimmer selbst geht nach hinten raus (Süden), mit Blick auf den Balkon und ins Grüne. Es ist ausgestattet mit Bett inkl. Lattenrost und Matratze, zwei wunderschönen Kommoden, Spiegel, Kleiderstange und Nachttisch. Da die Möbel gemeinsam bezahlt werden, kannst du mit Fiola auch gerne über die Aufteilung der Möbel sprechen und das Zimmer neu arrangieren.

After a lovely 1 year in this beautiful apartment that we moved in together as friends, I leave my 13 Sqm, fully furnished room in a fully furnished and well equipped modern 2 bedroom apartment (Yes, you need to move in JUST with a suitcase!!!!) which you will share with Fiola, a 26y/o young professional and a super fun person (yes we are still friends, I’m just moving in with my boyfriend and will come and visit :))
The apartment was fully renovated in 2019. All the furniture is from early 2020, and the rooms were designed beautifully by our landlady. Everything is modern and you can make this your home!
Your room is equiped with a double bed, two dressers, an open closet hanger, a mirror and a side table. Since we share the furniture ownership, you can also choose something from Fiola’s room, if you’d like to exchange / move around the room design.
It has a south facing window with a view of the balcony and green backyard. You wake up to the sound of birds and if our balcony project goes well, you will see beautiful flowers!
The apartment includes a nice modern bathroom with underfloor heating, a big kitchen/living room, Fiola's room, a storage room and the beautiful balcony. You can have a look at the furniture in our pictures :)

Die Lage könnte besser nicht sein! In nur 4 Minuten erreicht man Rudolfplatz oder Zülpicher Platz (Anbindung an die Straßenbahnlinien 1,7,12,15); Neumarkt und Innenstadt sind in weniger als 10 Gehminuten zu erreichen, der Bahnhof Süd ist ebenfalls 10 Minuten entfernt, mit perfekter Anbindung nach Süden und Norden (Bspw. Bonn). In 5 Minuten bist du bei Rewe, Lidl, DM oder Rossmann.
Trotz der super zentralen Lage ist unsere Straße eine ruhige Seitenstraße, neben dem Haus befindet sich direkt ein Spielplatz.
Restaurants, Bars etc. befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe um uns herum und der Grüngürtel mit Aachener Weiher ist 10 Minuten entfernt.
Und falls du mal zu faul zum kochen bist - über 350 Restaurants liefern zu uns!

The location couldnt be any better! And I mean it! In only 4 minutes walking you can reach Rudolfplatz or Zülpicher Platz (connection to tram lines 1,7,12,15); Neumarkt and the city center are less than 10 minutes walking away, the train station "Köln Süd" is also 10 minutes away, perfect for connections to Bonn or Düsseldorf. In 5 minutes you are at the supermarkets Rewe, Lidl, DM or Rossmann.
Despite the super central location, our street is a quiet side street, next to the house is a playground. It’s as peaceful as it gets, for being right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Cologne’s party district.
Restaurants, bars etc. are in the immediate vicinity around us. Schaafenstraße, Zülpicher, Ringe, Friesenplatz - all the top hotspots are within 10 minutes walking. Bonus tip - Over 350 restaurants deliver at our location on Lieferando!! You will never be hungry (even at 4am)
The "Grüngürtel" (Park called "green belt") with Aachener Weiher is 10 minutes away.

Hallo zukünftiger Mitbewohner! Ich bin Fiola, 26 Jahre alt, komme aus Mumbai und lebe seit 3+ Jahren in Deutschland. Ich arbeite bei DHL in Bonn, wohin ich auch, wenn nicht gerade im Home Office, mehrmals wöchentlich pendeln werde. Neben der Arbeit lerne mehrmals wöchentlich Deutsch (derzeit B1) und es wird jeden Tag besser! :) Ich würde mich über eine "denglische" WG freuen! Ich habe schon in mehreren WGs gelebt (sowohl mit deutschen als auch mit internationalen Mitbewohnern) und bin eine sehr flexible und entspannte Mitbewohnerin (Mareike kann das bestätigen). Ich würde definitiv nicht wollen, dass dies eine "Zweck"-WG wird!
Vor Corona war ich sehr viel unterwegs, habe mich mit Freunden getroffen oder war im Fitnessstudio. Zurzeit sind meine Hobbys Zumba, spazieren gehen, malen, Brettspiele spielen und mich um meine 30+ Pflanzen kümmern! Wenn auch du einen grünen Daumen hast, können wir unsere WG gemeinsam grüner machen! :)
Da ich Vollzeit arbeite, bin ich unter der Woche meist sehr beschäftigt, aber ich bin immer für Wein, Spaziergänge, Spiele, Tagesausflüge oder einfach nur für einen Plausch auf unserer gemütlichen Couch zu haben. Ich koche auch sehr gerne zusammen und organisiere kleine Abendessen. Wenn wieder mehr geöffnet wird, freue ich mich schon auf gemeinsame Dinner & Drinks in den umliegenden Kneipen und Restaurants zusammen! :)
Mein Zimmer ist fast immer offen - wenn du eine Schulter zum Ausheulen brauchst, eine Person, bei der du dich über deinen schrecklichen Tag auf der Arbeit auslassen möchtest oder einfach nur eine Person zum Umarmen - dann hast du die Richtige gefunden!
Natürlich ist Respekt ein wichtiger Teil des WG-Lebens und wenn du dich zurückziehen willst, Privatsphäre brauchst oder einfach nur entspannen willst, ist das definitiv kein Problem!

Hey future flatmate! I’m Fiola, I come from Mumbai, but I’ve been living in Germany for 3+ years. I am 26 years old, and I work at DHL in Bonn. I’m studying German (currently B1) but it gets better everyday! I’d be happy to have a “Denglish” WG! I’ve lived in multiple WGs (German as well as international), and I am a very flexible and chill person. I would definitely not want this to be a “Zweck” WG! Before Corona, I would usually be outdoors traveling, meeting friends or at the gym. Currently, my hobbies are doing Zumba, going for walks, painting, playing board games and taking care of my 30+ plants! If you have a green thumb, we can work on making our WG greener! Since I work full time, I am usually busy during the week but always down for wine, walks, playing games, doing day trips or just for a chat on our comfortable couch about our cultures and lives. I also really like cooking together and organising little dinners. When things open up again, I’d love to go for dinners and to the pubs again, since we live so centrally!
My room is almost always open, so if you need a shoulder to cry on, a person to vent to about your terrible day at work or just a person to hug, you found the right one!
Of course, respect is an important part of WG living and if you need to retire, need privacy or just relax, it’s definitely no problem!

Die Waschmaschine befindet sich in der Küche. Wir haben einen Induktionsherd mit dem passenden Equipment. Da die Möbel mit vermietet werden, gibt es bis auf kleine Anschaffungen durch uns (Besteck, Geschirrtücher,...) keine Übernahmekosten. Es gibt außerdem ein Kellerabteil und einen Fahrradkeller. Für das Home Office haben wir zwei Arbeitsplätze.
Die Nebenkosten betragen 45€ für Elektrizität & Gas + 18€ fürs Internet.

The house has a dishwasher, a big fridge and a washing machine that is located in the kitchen. The kitchen stove is induction, and we have all the utensils. The landlady owns the furniture, so you don’t need to pay additional for the take over. There would be minor one-time cost for take over of household items purchased by us during move in (e.g cutlery, cleaning equipment, storage boxes, etc.). There is also a big storage available in the basement and a bicycle cellar. We also have 2 workstations for home office.
Utilities are 45€ for electricity & gas + 18€ for internet.
